Interesting opening chapter, theres definitely potential here for some original world building.
I feel the ending was a little rushed though, the last few paragraphs may have been better at the start of the next chapter as Grey remembering the circumstances of his first meeting with Celestia, prehaps ending it leaving his parents graves for the dramatic affect, just a thought tho.

Thanks for the comment! I appreciate it. Also, I’m well into chapter two right now and it kind of ends abruptly for a reason. It’s written that way mostly just to explain some of what happened between 20 years ago and now without going into chapters worth of detail, but we’ll find out more concerning our favorite purple pone in chapters three and four.
