Giant alien mushrooms was not so bad when you got used to the taste; Robotnik had thought with the gathered remains of the Robotnik Mobile. Fortunately given the genius that was; still intact was the memory core with the data it collected. It had a memory of the Hedgehog’s movements and studied it; there were also the robot blueprints stored in them. Including the super robot design he had been working on designed to copy a fighting style and use it against it.
He also still had the blue quill and he knew that he would returned and exact both his vengeance and domination....
On a hill overlooking Canterlot; there opened up a Ring portal and out came a young yellow fox Mobian who was overlooking the tracking device that he had invented. He grinned when he saw the positive energy reading which meant that he found him. “Hopefully I am not too late and I can give the good news to Princess Blaze when I find him....” The fox said to himself as he then twirled around his two tails and then used them to fly over the city.

KO awesome chapter, well dealing with Doctor Eggman has been dealt with but another adventure is coming soon with a certain game is coming.
REALLY good job on the future arc set-up here. I particularly liked the detail of the "super-fighting robot" plans and Tails' mention of Princess Blaze. The added details, of course, mean, we AREN'T going to have to wait for the actual sequel before the story can continue (though we might still have to wait until real world concerns and inspiration can allow).
Of course, I can't help visualizing Robotnik also developing a rivalry with a seven-foot, fire-breathing, megalomanical anthro reptile with a massive army and, as a side effect of the alien mushrooms, ALSO developing a limited degree of Super-Strength and Super-Toughness (basically just enough to give him brawn to match his brains) as additional Mythology Gags concerning the "alien mushroom" world.
But anyway, I will VERY definitely be looking forward to more of this.

OMG YES!!! Not only are we getting what sounds like Metal Sonic, but one of my favorite and most underrated characters Blaze got a mention I LOVE THIS!
Beyond hyped for the next chapter and to see where all this goes
