Welp, after finally deciding to take the time to read this story after spotting it a couple of months ago and deciding it looked interesting enough to read later I can safely say that I am very glad I decided to read it. It’s been an incredible story to enjoy and got me to binge it so hard to the point where in less than a week I got through the more the 500k words in it. I can’t wait to read more of it and see just where all the twists and turns in it will go.

Oh wow. I love this kind of comment. It makes my entire day! Thank you, Erie, and I'm glad you enjoyed it enough to binge read it. That's a great compliment! Thank you, and I hope you continue to enjoy the story as it unfolds.
Nah, thems some sneaky shits. Honestly it's probably worse that way than just idiots trying to charge her or something.
Holy moly, that was so long ago at this point. Funny how things change.
BIIIIIITCH PLEASE. YOUR CROWN?!?!?!?
Yeah, I wouldn't trust anything. There's a clear divide in the sisters, and until you see irrefutable proof, I wouldn't let your guard down Silk.
Pfft, Zephirine is adorable~
Well, less a little surprise and more of a light of hope for the future. :)

It really has been a long time. Almost a year by now since that chapter got published.
She is! And there's more of her in Cara's story coming up. We had a lot of fun playing with her character concept and figuring out where she fit into the family dynamic of the Garden.
I've yet to reach the latest chapter that was released some days ago, but this story has gotten me so enamoured that I couldn't help but attempt to say something.
I have to say, this is perhaps one of the best reads I had in who in the world knows how long— I genuinely thought that I had devoured pretty much all of the OC-centric pieces of fascinating world-building and captivating storytelling on this website, and that just maybe fimfic was not as endless as I once thought it to be. But I'm so glad that this story just simply threw my presumptions away and told me how wrong I was.
It isn't just the world that you have built, even if it is an amazingly constructed original little canon that charms me to no end, but also the way you simply write and narrate it; I frankly have no knowledge of what little quirks or characteristics can be used to make things as appealing as this one is, but it flows so well that I have been on an eager binge and am already in near reach of book 2's ending despite only having started to read this a few weeks ago. In no small part thanks to the characters too, I might add; characters are usually what turns me off from keeping up with a story, since a bland or too perfect character with very little interesting aspects that can be tapped into might aswell just give the same effect as reading about a blank slate— I don't think I can put into words just how delightful all of your characters are, from our big star Rosewater to little Zepherine, through the purview of Bliss, they're all wonderfully penned and interesting in their own rights, and their interactions being equally as pleasant, to an extent where it had me yearning for sidefics or an AU.
But to cut it short, I just wanted to say that this is such a refreshing read, and similarly such a satisfying universe too, you write like a champ; if you have a discord or anything alike, I'm so in for it.

I was so glad to read your comment. It's comments like this that really do make my day, and thank you for taking the time to do so. I'm happy you're enjoying the story so far, and I hope you continue to enjoy it.
My secret for writing characters is to make them wrong on occasion. To suffer doubts and worries, and have them act on worries and doubts in nonconstructive ways. Not necessarily destructive, though that's certainly the case in some places, but the really important thing is to give them flaws that have consequences, and then have them try to overcome and fix those consequences.
I'm not always successful at it, but learning writing is a process that never ends.
Also, there are two side-fics, but neither one is published by me. The first one, Across the River, takes place before my story begins, and the second, The Rose Way, starts around the time of the Commoner's Gala.
