Ch 1

Season 1, Chapter I: The Star Spangled Stag with a plan

Everything was spinning and tossing and turning it was too much for his eyes

"WOOAHHHH OHHHH OHHHH!"

Suddenly everything goes white

"Uh" he groans at the dirt he landed on

"I never expected a landing like that let alone a landing at all" he starts to get up and looks at his surroundings

He looks to be in the middle of nowhere and behind him is some kind pit stop station where it looks like a chance to get some supplies.

He tries to stand up "Well I should probably check...WOAH!" He trips on his side and as he tries to rub his head "ow" he. Accidentally hit himself and realized something. "What?" He was looking at a hive that was connected to him and as he looks the the shields reflection he sees "Gaah!" He falls on his back

'I'm...a deer' he looks at the hooves with wide eyes

After a few minutes of processing this he gets up "I guess since ponies are the dominant species I must automatically changed into a similar race to adapt, though I wish the doctor warned me"

Then he realized something else, "Woah now this makes me wonder how Cadance must have felt when she must have left her world behind" he starts too pace himself to walk slowly as he has never had four long legs before.

"Okay now lets...lets..." he tries to his belt but "oh right no thumbs but how am I supposed to open my belt" sudden a note fell out of his prototype suit. He uses his hooves to open it and sees

Dear Ashura, Incase you forgotten, you should know that the body changes completely in this dimension buy worry not, you can still pick up objects withthe power of your antlers. Just focus

Cadance

"Just focus huh" he then focuses and suddenly he belt opens up and out comes a device but it drops...and tries to pick it up again but falls again... so he tries one more time so it starts to glow and starts to float high enough that he slowly puts on his left hoof.(Dr Erskine said to put this on the moment I set foot in this world) he thought as he pressed a button with his hoof.
It turns on with a mini hologram of Dr. Erskine
[Hello again Ashura, I shouldn't remind you that this mission would leave...odd results. But I should remind you that I provided sufficient supplies and equipment to aid you in your survival. What you have on your...ahem...limb is a pipbuck, they can sense surroundings and check for lifeforms. Among this wasteland, I have found a safespot for you to call your home and installed coordinates to find it. Cadance and I wish you luck as we watch you from a dimensional screen and through your pipbuck] and the hologram fades.

"So I guess I just press here and..." he turns on a setting. He sees a radar on the pipbucks screen he sees that he's surrounded by certain small dots but one big dot not too far
"That must be the spot" he starts to head south in his new deer body

With each step takes him away from one sandy wasteland into a new one

"I should probably find a place to take shelter first" he says but hears something.

*aaaah!*

He hears a innocent girl screaming...or probably some whiny dude

He goes out to scout and takes out a pair of binoculars with his horns. And looks too see some...ponies dressed as...mad max bandits assault an old timey guy(oh it is a man)

As he sees the bandit hold a gun with magic he has no time to lose and springs into action

He jumps in the middle and shields the hostage from the fast bullets

(Ah man this is the first time I did something so...RECKLESS) he thought as he instantly punched a thugs up about 3 feet. but he clearly didn't think this through as he charged in without thinking. Lucky for him they ran out of ammo so this gave Ashura a chance to charge before they could reload and jumped on one hard and stomp and its head and jumps to another and lands with a fast kick and picks up the gun and hits the third guy in the head with it. Now he throws the gun at the last guy hard and picks up his shield and charges him down hitting the sand hard.

And he gets up and dusts off his shield. He looks to the victim "You okay?"

The guy stops quivering and lifts his head,and gets up "um yes I had the situation under control" he said (not really) the victim looks to be some kind of green like guy with extra arms. Wearing a cowboy suit with a tophat that looks like he's cosplaying as willy wonka

"Um what are you exactly" Ashura said

"Say don't you know its rude to call a person what they are" he said..."but to answer your simple question I am a native long from the outskirts of klugetown"

'Klugetown?, didn't cadance mention a town with a similar name before' he thought but paid no mind to it "Sorry sir, my name is Ashura and I'm..."

"Gasp, oh why didn't I realize this sooner?" The odd guy said "Your a living deer"(hmmm such a rare opportunity) the old man thought to himself

"I noticed"

"But I thought the deer race no longer lived in equestria or anywhere" he measured his antlers "and such a well breeders specimen"

"Uummm I liked to believe that some of my kind are still wandering" he nervously smiled "well I should get going" while the old man sweated a bit(he's getting away I can't blow this)

"Would you like to travel with me?" The old man said "I could make you famous and be loved by and feed you with the finest meals fixed up by my assistant Brick" . he points to a small kluge native snoring his troubles away

"Sorry I don't want to trouble you" Ashura said as he starts to walk again

"Oh uh well but how about I could drive you there" hoax quickly responded to his mealticket

Which made him stop "You sure?"

"On one condition" the old man said

"Which is?"

"Propaganda!"

"What does that have to do with me?"

"I saw how you charged in there and saved my life, you my boy clearly have a sense of justice. And the whole world should know this"

"I don't know..." Ashura said

"Think about it, all those people fighting each other like the ruffians they are, they need someone to show them how to be great, someone who is noble, someone who is patriotic, someone like you" he points to Ashura

"You mean there needs to be a signal for hope?"

"Look around lad, this land is a cesspool for monsters mentally and literally" as he is technically not wrong about this world of radiation and death valleys "If not for my do it...for them." He says in a funny dramatic way

Ashura steps back and turns around. He doesn't want to trouble him, and he never asked for fame, but it would take a long time to reach his destination and a set of wheels should shorten the travel. 'Maybe I could meet some fellow soldiers are fell in this world like me' he turns to the klugetown guy and...

"Alright professor I'll take up on your offer"

"Splendid you won't regret this golden opportunity" he chuckles " now as a token of your partnership accept this miracle elixir" he hands Ashura a bottle of miracle tonic
"I will go start the kart" the old man said excitedly

Ashura looks at the bottle while the assistant whispers "Pfft" as Ashura looks at him who has revealed to faked being asleep "Don't drink it"

Listening to bricks warning, Ashura takes a look at it again and decides to secretlydump the liquid to spare the professors feelings

"It's been a few days, since he left" Cadance said feeding Flurry Heart "You think he's Alright"

"I sure hope so" Erskine said flipping a coin while reviewing the screen that signals Ashuras pipbuck."I've got a lot riding on that boy" he studies the movement "It looks like he is stopping frequently for detours" he states "maybe to find supplies?" The dr hypothesized

*babbling* Flurry mumbled

"That's right sweetheart, wherever he is he probably doing his job" she feeds her again "I just hope he isn't dragged into something ridiculous"

'I look ridiculous'

"Um what did you do to my suit?"

"Had to match the colors of the equestrian flag" hoaxstar said

"And these?" He pointed to the unnecessary pixie wings on his head and painted shield and red boots

"Those are to make you child friendly and appeal to younger audience" he said as the now hear audiences shouting

"That's you cue lad now make equestria proud again" he pushes him onto stage and as he walks near dancing mares he sees an audience of odd gruff pony soldiers but also sees young colts and fillies that came out of a sewer.

'Here goes nothing' Ashura thought

(Ashura went on town to town selling merchandise and getting well known)
We can't ignore there's a threat and a war we must win
Who'll hang a noose on the goose-stepping goons from Griffonstone?

(He was selling movies and comics even made the sewer kids happy. Even did his own stunts)

Who's making Goddess afraid to step out of her box?
(He knows what we're fighting for!)

Who'll finish what they began?

(Apparently he has been learning about the lost culture of Equestria such as the ministry, the mutants and their mysterious leader, and what peaked his interest fallen princess)
(Who's strong and brave, here to save the American way?!)
(He felt very embarrassed by the fame but he felt glad that he was helping, but...)

About a month later...
"So who wants to help me sock old goddess on the jaw?"

He got no replies from the current audience... As only the crickets that survived the disaster make noises

Apparently he still hashtag gotten the respect from actual soldiers

"Uh anyone have any questions" Ashura said as he sees a raised hand "yes"

"Bring out the girls" said the rude pony while others cheer

"What no your missing the point"

"This is boring!"

"Come now doesn't anyone.."

"Hey cap I got something to represent!" As another rude pony was to show his ugly rear but luckily Ashura had a shield to block the sight

And now hears boos and has the shield to block rotten food as he evacuates the stage as the cheerleaders run out to calm down the mass

He walks back to stage and passes hoaxstar the mask "I'm taking a break"

Later , he just sits at his tent doodling. (After weeks of getting used to this deer body It feels like a new skin) he thought as he draws a monkey with his suit performing small comedy tricks.

"This was a mistake" he said as he probably should have just focused on the mission at hand

"This was such to cheer people out but instead I feel like a third rate sellout" he talks to himself in frustration he looks to his painted nettitus "I bet whoever owned you didn't do such silly stuff huh?" He talks to himself before falling asleep

As he slept he starts to relax in the soothing night sleep until

"waste no more time...

The time to strike is almost at hand... said a mysterious feminine voice

The shock woke up him "Huh?" Suddenly he hears his pipbuck activate

He sees that he can has been receiving mail from cadance and the doctor for sometime to check on his progress to his location.

News update, more soldiers have been missing from earth

"I know some keep disappearing but as long as I can reach my destination I should be able to think of something" he tries to be positive "now let's see what squads are missing" he reads a list of divisions until...he Looks with wide eyes "No..."

flashback

"Let's see what I got" as he reads the mail

Dear brother, I got in the army
Looking forward for you too, but if you can't I will have to work for the both of us. I'm in the American 42nd division which is small but I'm not complaining

"Heh he talks like he had little effort" Ashura smirked "but I'll show him"

"He's...been here the whole time?" he said as he sees divisions 12, 36,19, and 42 were sent

"That's it, I can't do that anymore" as he starts to rearrange the pipbuck to where unknown appearances have gotten. "Brick once said that he heard people have been popping in and out south of the Appleloosa region." He then grabs a radio searching for signs of any distress signals near the area
Until he hears repeated beeps that signal SOS "I found it I hope I'm not too late" he starts to get up and get ready (sorry hoaxstar at least you treated me well) he thought

Minutes later hoaxstar starts another show "places ladies were on in three minutes" he said
as the mares get ready to dress until one notices something "has anyone seen my helmet?"

He sneaks to a bandit with a gun and taps his shoulder "the f--OOF" with one hit he knock him out
As Ashura searches the thugs armor steals his keys he says "language " as he wears a brown leather jacket with a army helmet with the E emblem on it.
He starts to jump on the cycle and and start the ride as he starts drive off to his new location as he enters a race against time

After hours of driving he sees a base of lights coming up on his binoculars but he decides that sneaking their on foot may be bad so he redirects his ride to a nearby hill to jump over to the other side of the base.

After hiding the bike he starts to run over and jump the fence
"Please be in there, for my sake" as he goes over the fence and hides from the light towers headlights starts his personal mission as he charges forward
