Prologue: Meet Captain Equestria
I know that there’s a whole different reality out there, but it didn’t start there. This story starts at a living world with many humans. I'm a human who gets involved in something big and I get the opportunity to change something important

"Ashura get up!"
"Huh, OW!" He gets up from his sleep as he hits his head on the bunk bed.
"Your training starts today soldier" said new voice
It makes the boy remove his covers revealing a tall skinny boy with brown hair and dark eyes with tan skin. He is in an underground room with a fair amount of lights with cave like walls that hold a certain furnature like a bunk bed with a carpet and a drawer and locker. With a big couch in the corner of the room.
He turns around to see a guy dressed as a pharmacist...no wait scientist.
"My assistant placed breakfast downstairs, after that we're going for an obstacle course run." He showed Ashura a picture of the course in printed paper as he shoved it up his face. "But first do some light jumping jacks and some stretching before eating" he goes and leaves
Ashura rolls his eyes and gets up putting on a bandana and wraps two locks of his hair and goes to his drawer putting on the required clothing and starts his morning workout.
'It's pretty hard to believe that it's been only eight weeks since I've been recruited, but at the same time it feels like it was only yesterday and and feared that I was never going to fulfill my purpose for something important'
[Flashback]
A couple weeks ago, Ashura was waiting at a waiting room at a general hospital. He was twitchinghis fingers because of how he felt worried about the results. Today was the day he wanted to register for the army to help out with countries like korea and afganistan.
He just went through a whole body checkup because people these days are looking for top grade soldiers
Suddenly hears the door open, and sees the messenger waving him to come into his office with with the results
"Well?" Ashura was expecting something
"Sorry kid, this place ain't for you" the doctor said
As he heard the answer, he felt shocked and thought he misheard something "What?"
"I said there's no way we could enlist you" the messenger
"Wait are you sure?"
"Yes"
"Are you sure there's no other way for me to..."
"Sorry"
"Well isn't there something you can do"
"I am, saving your life" he's about to stamp
"Wait please I want to do something for the country"
"Try the salvation armed forces" and stamps a rejected mark.

He sats on the bus just looking at this bit of disappointment from his scores. He just keeps remembering how much negativity this puts on his attitude. So he crumbled it up
"Sigh this forsaken curse on my family has been nothing but trouble"
'Long ago, my entire family had been faced with a sickness that made every relative scrawny and and too skinny and a weak immune system.' He looks at the window 'everyone...except my brother.' He thinks who he considers the lucky ones. 'This sickness already nabbed my folks' he grabs his chest
And looks sad 'what if it takes me too?' He starts the drift alseep in the bus 'No...No! 8 cant be negative, theres gotta be something I can do'
when he suddenly hears something.
Beep
Beep
"Hey does anyone hear that?"
Beeeeep
Due to his knowledge about certain alarm detections required for the armed forces he could only assume...oh no
"EVERYBODY GET DOWN!"
BOOM!
An explosion under the busses tires blow up and the whole bus starts to tip over a couple of times. The shaking was so hard the he had to hang on with to dear life. Finally the rocking stops and he only got a minor concussion and some bruises (wow that was lucky,uh oh) he sees fire coming out of a bus. And he still see four unconscious people plus the bus driver out. Without thinking he starts to carry some out of the burning bus. Then another one
And a few more
Then he went back for the bus driver and as he lifted him to leave the bus
*boom!* the force of the exploding bus pushed them away. He slowly gets up and starts to call 911 until he collapses.
He wakes up in a hospital bed with slight bandages on him.
He then hears something being shoked as he turns to see a young woman with multiple pink shaded hair. Wearing jeans and a grey hoodie "Um is it morning"
"Close, its 5 p.m...you were out since yesterday" she finishes drying the rag
"So is everyone okay?"
"Yes there being safely transferred to a different hospital"
"What's wrong with this hospital?"
"It's not a hospital"
"What?"
She points at the curtain" he will explain" she said as someone pulls out the curtain "This room and hospital was ordered for this private meeting." Said a new voice which reveals to be an old man in a labcoat
"You are Ashura are you not"
"Uh yes, how did you know?" He asked while the pink haired girl shows him his wallet "oh"
"It also let me locate your medical records easily" he takes out a document of his records.
"So which hospital am I in?"
"Oh your not in a hospital, your in a medical checkup room" he said
"And just in time for a retake" she said as she took out a clipboard
Ashura then figured out what she meant "A suprised registration but I'm not..."
"Fear not about your injuries they do not matter that much" the old man said as he passes him a shirt to put on. "By the way we took the liberty of giving you a body examination while you slept. So lets move to the next step" the old man starts to read a article from a newspaper
"So you want to go overseas, kill some corrupt soldiers in Africa or Afghanistan "
"Excuse me?" Ashura asked
"Ahem" the old man raiseds he hand "Dr. Abraham Erskine" Ashura shakes his hand "I represent a...certain scientific research in need of certain help"
"Ashura...Otsutsuki" he says his name "so where are you from?" Ashura asks to start a conversation
"Queens, before that Germany" he looks at Ashura "you?"
"Well here in this town between canterlot and the crystal city, but before that, It was Brooklyn New York"
"Interesting but you didn't answer my question" the old man closes the book "Do you want to kill terrorists"
"...is this a test?" Which the old man replies with a nod
Ashura sits down "I don't want to kill anyone" as the old man raises an eyebrow as the boy continues "I don't like bullies and I don't care where they come from"
The pink haired lady heard his reply and was a little surprised by his answer but chose not to say anything.
"You know, I know a place where there are so much big men fighting in war, so maybe now, we need a little guy huh?"
But the boy didn't say as he felt uncertain
"I am willing to give you a chance to fight in a war to end multiple ones"
"A chance? Then I'll take it" he accepts
He hands him a file "congratulations soldier" as walks out "We'll be heading out tomorrow get some rest" the pink haired woman asked as she shakes his hand "My name is Cadance"
"Mine is Ashura" as she leaves he reads his file with a passing 1A stamp of approval on it
Ever since then He has started to train under the doctors instructions in a remote area in a deep forest underground.
He has been also researching technology he has never seen before. He didn't know why he had to read about it but it was said to be necessary with the mission.
As everyone ate at the table, Ashura looks at a friendly face next to him, seeing a a small baby with cotton candy colored hair playing with her food. "Heh hello little flurry" he gets her attention making her giggle and splash the food using his plate to block the mess.
"That was cl-" he got a suprise splash "nevermind" he says then he hears the door open to see the doctor show up.
"I have good news" he said
"What is it?"
"Tomorrow your training will be complete and you will participate in my project that will help in the upcoming war." During the training, Ashura was told that the secrer project would involve a secret serem.
"So soon? You sure I don't need more time"
"I and my helper have seen enough"
"What do you mean?"
"We saw what you did for those people the day of the bus accident" which shocked him until he realized something "Was that a test?"
"And he's still skinny" Cadance said to break tension while holding her kid
he reaches for another clipboard "we will spend the rest of the day testing your endurance again"
"Alright" he finishes his breakfast to start his training day
On the last night time Ashura was pondering what will happen.
He hears the door open to see the cadance visiting "can't sleep?"
"A bit nervous"
"Makes sense" she takes out a bottle to drink "might I suggest something to ease your mind, like how your family are"
Ashura looks down "you read my files so you already know my condition is what ki"
"I meant your other family"
Ashura thinks "You mean my brother?"
"Anything interesting to talk about?"
"Well Indra is,... a complex character my family called him the lucky boy"
"Lucky boy?"
"Unlike the rest of my family, my brother never had the weakness even though it was genetic, my father said it was a one in a million chance" he said with slight jealousy
"So what's he do for a living?"
"Well hes practically living my goal, he joined the army"
"Oh is he doing alright?"
Ashura looks down "I'm nit sure?"
"What do you mean?"
"He usually mails me through letters but he stopped and its been almost a year"
"Do you think?"
"No if he was killed the doctor would have gotten word from the army to tell me."
She looks intrigued "really..."
"And that's not the weird part"
"Enlighten me?"
"I've been reading the news apparently a lot of soldiers in my brother's division have vanished and for some reason, soldiers from the enemies side have vanished too"
She looks shocked "what?"
"Is something wrong?" He sees something weird about her
"It's um" she stops as they hear footsteps to see the doctor appear "Hello everyone"
"Oh look at the time I got to tuck flurry to bed" she walks away
"What was that about?"
"Not sure" Ashura said
"So you can't sleep?"
"Like I told cadance I feel a bit jittery"
"Me too"
"But she made me forget it a bit...until you reminded me again"
"Oh"
"Hey can I ask you a question"
"Only one"
"Among all those strong soldiers, Why me?" He said as the thought has been bugging him since day one.
"I guess thats the only question that matters" he opens his bottle "You see this, bottle, it resided from Auschwitz region, some people forget that the nazis first invasion was there home country" he then gets to the point "once in my life, there leaders heard of me and wanted me to create something for them"
"Really how old are you?"
"Not important, anyway this led me to conduct enough experience to create my serum but at the same time a man named schmidt found me, unlike adolf who uses fantasy to make his troops follow, schmidt forces that fantasy to reality..." he rubs his eyes" he wanted me to test the serum on him"
"Did it work? Did it make him stronger?"
"It did" he thinks back "but it had side effects...some unspeakable." He said "The serum wasn't ready yet"
"But it's ready now right?"
"Yes, but that's not important, the serum amplifies ones being so in a way good becomes great, but bad becomes worse" he said
"this is way you were chosen, because the strong man who knows strength all his life loses respect for that strength but a weak man knows the value of strength thereby they who..." he pores a drink "compassion"
"Uh thanks I think" he twiddles his thumbs
"What ever happens tommorow prompise me one thing"
"What is it?"
"Once you take the serum promise me that you would not become a good soldier but a good man" he pours him a drink but
"No wait wait no fluids remember" he takes ashuras drink away
"So tommorow?"
"No I don't have the procedure tommorow I'll drink now"
Ashura walks to the doctor room where he sees Cadance and the doctor with a needle ready
Ashura sits down as the doctor walks in front of him.
"My boy it is time I told you why I needed your help" he turns on a screen "Behold Project Fallout"
He shows Ashura a video of a wasteland where there is much fire and strife and fighting
"What? Wait are those animals"
"They are the domaint species of that world"
"That world?"
"It use to be a magical land of equestria" cadance said
"Like those equestrian races sports?"
"Not the point" cadance said You see our worlds is in danger"
"That is a world where magic and technology have destroyed each other" she looks away from the screen "many were killed in that onslaught including... my love and sister in law"
"I'm sorry for your loss"
"Don't be if you want to help me, save that world" she said in a sad tone
"So does thar mean your not really human?"
"Nope, infact you could say I was somebody important once" hinting her past as a princess
"But how does this war effect this world"
"Because that world has been creating wormholes and some that have been sucking humans inside that world"
"Humans...wait you mean thoses missing soldiers?" Ashura was shocked
"Might have gotten dragged in, sorry to say that maybe your brother may be dragged in as well" cadance said
Ashura looked worried and shocked "your saying my brother may be in that world?"
"Not just that but that constant choas and disorder has been making the world in peril" the doctor said
"If too many portals open up, that equestrias monsters and creatures may bring that danger to this world and lets face it this world is already still fighting and doesn't need another armageddon" cadance said that may be cold but true
"Are you ready?" The doctor said
Ashura looks down and with a determined face and lets his arm open for the injection
"I'm ready" Ashura prepares as the doctor nods and injects the serum in him
"Now step into this poor of stabilizing chemicals to activate the serums effects" as he points to a pool of green liquid as Ashura slowly walks in.
As he steps in as the doctor turning on the vat releashing a huge amount of vita-rays he starts to feel slight discomfort and then his skin starts to feel hard and then his insides start to burn until his body starts to glow and the glow gets brighter at each second. Ashura grabs his arms at the pain and tries to stay in long enough to make it stop until the the discomfort and glowing finally stops. He steps out of the pool "oh wow" he loses balance as cadance caught him "That was intense" as they look at him in shock
"What?"
Cadance shows him a mirror as Ashura sees himself taller and looks healthy and strong
"How do you feel?" Cadance said
He gets up "Taller"
"Now get dressed in this" he said and we will send you into your first mission"
He hands him a costume that looks blue and orange with a blue mask
Moments later he wears his outfit which makes him feel odd
"I don't know if this leather suit can protect me much"
"That's why your first mission is not to a gun fight" he said " your will get a more proper suit in the second mission"
"Oh and one more thing" Cadance gives him a shield
"A shield?"
"Not just any shield, this is nettitus and it has protected it's users for generations" she explained "How did you find such a weapon?"
"I found it in a desert in equestria" cadance said
Ashura lowers his head "Thank you" he know follows the doctor to another room.
They enter a room with a mission that contains a metallic hope that reveals a wormhole of the dystopian world he witnessed in the screen
"We managed to find a moving wormhole, and will guide you to your first mission" the doctor said
Ashura takes a moment to look at that world, the world where his brother may be
"Are you sure your ready for this?" Cadance said while holding flurry
Ashura walks towards it and looks back "It's why I was chosen"
"Good luck soldier" Erskine said
Ashura smiles and after waves to flurry heart and sees her laugh.
Now prepared, Ashura now marches into the wormhole of the unknown
The one who will soon be known to all as Captain Equestria☆
"You sure he will be Alright" Cadance said tickling flurry as he saw Ashura leave
"He has to otherwise" the doctor then opens a secret hatch revealing a secret room with smoak coming out revealing six stasis pods
Each one containing a pony a griffon a changeling a dragon a yak and a hippogriff in a suspended animated state.
"Who will lead them?"
