How is Starswirl at all involved with this story?
If it's in a later chapter, why is this story marked complete?
Last paragraphs: Unexpected gory hypocrisy. That part was somewhat interesting, still this story in general felt like, I dunno, substanceless. The conflict is closed too soon, unless it is an introduction.
On the other hand, if you wanted to expose the mindset of the factions, eh, it kind of works but it it is not very story-ish. It does not explore deeper on the characters or circumstances, either.
