Burst and the other guys decided to stay in costume when they discussed which song they should perform this time. "It's time guys! Let's go!" And with that, they took the stage as their song began to play.

The whole mansion cheered as the guys went back to their respective significant others.

Meanwhile in the Shadow Realm

Vengeance. It was the all-consuming thought on Dark Ice's mind ever since he was defeated seemingly for good and Dark Mist was destroyed. "I will not meet my end here! I will rise again! And I will have my vengeance!"

"Whoa! I don't know what you're going on about, but I like your fire!", a new voice said. Ice turned to face the source, and found himself face-to-face with the legendary Red Dragon Archfiend. "Tell ya what. I'll help you get out of here. But only if you accept me as your dueling partner. So what do you say?"

Dark Ice sneered. "I accept! With you by my side, I will be unstoppable!" In a blast of flame, Ice found himself back in the human world. "Ace goes to CHS. So it looks like I'm joining Crystal Prep. He's my rival, so it only makes sense to attend CHS's rival! That geeky uniform is going to take some getting used to though..."

Not a lot to comment on this story for, it was a fun read but didn't have much in terms of plot or characterization to write about, so I'll just move on to that tournament arc in part 6...
