After reading the prologue, and the first chapter, I must say I am quite pleased. I actually like this story so far. And I do not say that very often.
Thanks! I'll try to have more chapters done in a timely manner; these first few are mostly exposition.
Finally got around to reading the next chapter. Chapter two is short and sweet; that is just how I like stories.
As for the quote above, when John is talking to the bartender in a cheery manner, you do not have to actually say that he is attempting to be as friendly as possible, dialogue is already showing us that. And be sure to capitalize Earth, since it is a proper noun.
