You will always be remembered

It was around Midday when Rainbow Dash's funeral finally came to a close, nearly the whole of Ponyville attended, all wearing something black which Rarity generously made for them, but it was really to take her mind off of what had occurred just the other week, thought it was reasonable considering what her and her friends saw, would take it's toll on any sane mind. But Pinkie Pie was the worst. She takes all of her friendships personally and to lose a friend was like losing a part of herself. Losing Rainbow Dash and discovering what a monster Fluttershy really was, It was too much for her fragile mind and she lost her normally bright and cheerful self to give way to a more depressed self who would hardly eat of even come out of her room. The others tried to convince her to come out but all attempts were futile, she just couldn't leave to go into such an unfair world who would take her friend so harshly and without reason. Sometimes Pinkie consider joining Rainbow in a better world then to continue living in the terrible one she was unfortunate enough to be brought into, but then she would think of her remaining friends and realise what their world would be like if she left them just live Rainbow did. So that brings us back to the present day as everypony got up from their chairs to leave, all but Pinkie Pie who just stayed sat in her chair and stared at the fresh grave, all out of tears to cry. The others exchanged glances, to which Twilight walked up to Pinkie, "Pinkie are you coming?" she asked in as soft a tone as she could muster, the only answer she received from the depressed mare was a small shake of her head and a mere whisper which Twilight had to strain to hear.

"No.... but I'll catch up with you soon, I first have got something I need to do"

"Oh okay if your sure" To which the mare replied with a small nod, "We'll be in Sugarcube Corner when you done" With that said Twilight turned around and walked off with the others in tow. Pinkie got up from her seat and walked over to the grave and laid down a single rose she had been holding onto, and just stood there in silence for a moment thinking on what to say to her friend, when she decided it would be best to speak from her heart,

"Dashie.... why did you have to leave so soon, you left me lost and alone and..... I know I may not have been the best friend at times and I may have gotten on your nerves a lot so I hope you can forgive me for being a pain.... but I didn't know how else to express my feeling, I may have a lot of friends but..... I never really learned the proper ways to express that and it would just end up with me just being random and crazy..... in the end all I wanted was for you and our friends to smile no matter what kind of pain I had to go through to see you all happy, be it getting rid of my pride just so you could have a good birth-aversary or going to the end of Equestria to throw a party for a bunch of yacks...... but I manly did them for you Dashie because I....I... love you and you may not or be able to return my feelings but I would just like you to know because whats the point of having a secret when you can't tell that pony directly. Dashie you are the bestest friend I ever had and I hope you make plenty of friends in your new home". At the point Pinkie had tears rolling down her cheek but she was smiling, she hadn't smiled since the last party she threw and after confessing all of that, it felt like a massive load had been lifted from her shoulders which felt great! but she was still going to miss her friend/ crush. Pinkie turned to leave when she felt a hoof on her shoulder, she looked around but couldn't see any pony, the hoof felt comforting, so comforting that Pinkie didn't want to leave but didn't want her friends to worry about her, they did enough of that over the last week. She felt the hoof lift off of her shoulder and Pinkie took that as a signal to leave, she gave one more look at the grave, turned around and started her journey back to Sugarcube Corner. When Pinkie arrived she notice all of her remaining friends looking and smiling encouragingly at her, Pinkie smiled a genuine smile back at them and when to sit down,

"How ya holding up sugarcube" AppleJack slid a chocolate milkshake Pinkies way, Pinkie grabbed it and took a sip from it, speaking from the heart was a thirsty thing.

"Im actually felling a lot better now, thanks girls for helping me through this rough week it help me a lot"

"Your welcome Pinkie darling, you even got a bit of your puff back in you mane. Thats a good sign" Rarity pointed out

"Pinkie if you don't mind me snooping but what was it that you stayed back their for?" Twilight piped in.

"I just needed to get somethings off of my chest but its nothing you need to worry about, actually it made me feel 20% better than I was over this week" Pinkie reassured, finishing of her drink in one gulp gaining a slight brain freeze in the process, but it didn't bother Pinkie she was just happy to be surrounded with good friends. With out warning Pinkie grabbed all of her friends in one big group hug, at first they were shocked but the soon took part in the heart warming embrace.

Well that ends 'You will always be remembered' I went really deep when I was coming up with what pinkie was to say, but I did it and it turned out quite okay if I do say so myself. Im sorry if anyone seemed out of character I tried to do it staying as close to their character as I could. but yeah I'll see you in the future

This is better than the initial story. There are a few grammar type errors but what would really improve the story is that at the start it feels like the narrator is telling me everything rather than Pinkie showing it. At the end it gets better about that but I think you can do more of that at the start.

I do like the premise though of Pinkie missing Dash after her death and admitting her feelings for her. I can see that in her character. The reason for her death is a bit out there but for what it is I like the idea.

Nah Pinkie should be the one bringing Dash back to life if anybody. She would have to go on a quest to some mystical site which puts her love for Dash on the line over her sense of self preservation. Might have to work on a way of redeeming FLuttershy in there too to get the complete story experience.
