Why do I have a feeling Brad is about to find out how much fun level and/or ability score drain is?
...The creepy changeling is about to be seduced by a creepy changing, isn't he/she/it?
Wow, and I can't even say I feel that guilty about the schadenfreude regarding that outcome. Brad in this chapter and how he handled the previous encounter with Octavia, just...
Huh. Did they ever pick up Bed Time's armor?
And yeah, Octavia being here isn't suspicious at all. Brad continues to impress me with her ability to think with parts she doesn't even have at the moment.
I think I found a typo in the leaf litter:
Given the first-person narrator in the party, this should probably be a "We".
Brad's bad karma is so strong it can take on a physical form. Whatever bad thing is about to happen to Brad, I think Bed Time is the only person who might try to save him, because she's just that nice.
Actually if Bed Time tries to save the jerk and gets hurt as a result, it would open up all sorts of juicy issues:
-Ian and probably Joe and Paul would get mad at Brad for dragging the innocent pony into his mess.
-Paul would feel guilty for catching the wrong pony in his trap.
-Ian would feel guilty for bringing her into danger (even if it was her choice)
-Brad would be forced to think hard about what npcs are to him.
-And of course, hurting Bed Time would maximize the feels, since everyone likes her.
A flirty Octavia suddenly willing to make amends and give rewards?

5947600 Fixed! My mistake. I don't write first person all that often.
Octavia in the Dungeon this may get interesting, who does she freak out on first.
