Comis Animus

A humble vampire bat that wishes to live out his days in peace within the dark and twisting woods of Everfree, away from those who may be hurt by his kind's thirst for fresh blood.

T

When war comes to Equestria from an alliance between the griffons, the minotaurs, and the dragons the normally peaceful land is being thrown around and beaten horribly within just the first few battles. Celestia has a secret weapon that she hoped she would never have to use but when she sees that her enemies have the power of foes long thought destroyed she realizes she has no other choice.

So she flies. Higher and higher she flies, until she reaches her mighty star that bathes the land in daylight. She calls to them. They answer.

Praise the sun!

.....Oh god, just the mental images.

Thousands upon thousands of sunbros...

As the dragons marshaled their forces for a final assault, a single arrow, a message tied to it, came whistling in a high arc over the hill. As it was unfurled, their leadership was confused.

"Is it some kind of code?"

"I don't know... 'Wut r u casul'? What's it supposed to mean?"

And that was when the rumbling began. As they raised their eyes to the crest of the hill, scores upon scores of strange, bipedal beings, each wearing a strange mask and carrying a massive sword, came pouring over the hill. The last sound they were ever to hear came in the form of two words:

"GIT GUD."

5085373 You, friend, have put such an entertaining image in my head I cannot stop my grinning. :pinkiehappy:

interesting story so far, and I already know who five of the seven are supposed to represent

Grand Radiance is, of course, Dragonslayer Ornstien
Nightborne is Abysswalker Artorias, and Umbra Bark is his companion, the Great Grey Wolf, Sif
Soothing Silence is Lord's Blade Ciaran
and Calm Sight is the Giant, Hawkeye Gough

cannot wait for more!

I am definitely enjoying this, and I am very eager to read more!

Are these the Four Knights of Gwyn, ponified? Or is Celestia a Gwyn-esque figure who mellowed with age, so to speak?

Definitely tracking this!
