High above the mostly blue marble Fluttershy sat staring at the planet looking rather pensive, every time she landed on a planet something bad happened. Even in space bad things had a tendency to go horribly wrong, there was also the fact that she still hadn’t told Bonnie that Star Command hadn’t absolved her of the pain inducing toxins she was injected with back on Planet Z. They likely didn’t know she was still feeling it considering she never spoke up about it. She was just really good at hiding the pain she was in and she hardly cringed anymore, she hadn’t been kidding when she told Bonnie her pain tolerance was quite a ways up there.

“So what’s going on in that head of yours Sweet Cheeks?” Walking up to the pony Bonnie could see something was wrong with her, but not what exactly.

“What’s going to happen to me this time? Every single time I go somewhere new, something bad always happens to me!” And if asked Fluttershy would point out every occurrence including starvation at the start of her whole friendly trot around space, she had a right to be frustrated.

“We won’t know until we try to go to Hawaii, but then again refresh my memory… what exactly happened to you on Bathyos or Tradeworld that was so bad?” In fact a lot of bad things happened to Bonnie on Tradeworld. The trip to Bathyos had been fairly tame as nothing truly horrible had happened to either of them despite there being a huge crime syndicate on the planet, but since they never went underwater they were completely fine.

“Well you were shot on Tradeworld and my hooves got slightly burnt, not to mention people died Bonnie! It was all because of me being there.” Fluttershy became slightly depressed, she was among friends at the time but it still hurt to know she was an indirect cause to people dying.

“It wasn’t your fault; I’m the one that dragged you to that world! So if it was anyone’s fault then it was mine and that psychopath Torque’s. You are blameless for blood on his four hands and I’m partly to blame for it happening!” After a moment of silence Fluttershy whimpered and Bonnie just had to hug the sad pony. “Look, not many people on Tradeworld can be considered innocent in any stretch of the imagination.”

“But he was after me though.” After a moment Fluttershy finally calmed down. “I guess Bathyos wasn’t so bad. Still Roller did bury me alive and it took a while for the DOKs to locate and dig me out.”

“There’s no accounting for everything Fluttershy, it happened like crap usually does. So please learn to move on, but never forget.” Bonnie held onto Clyde’s graying sphere, there was still plenty of time to get him to Hawaii so she wasn’t worried. She also knew that something could happen to make the situation that much different, but she wasn’t going worry if that happened. At least Clyde would always be in her heart as he is and as he will be; if he did actually die she would bury him in Hawaii near the Pelakai home in loving memory. “Forgetting is going to be a problem with me soon enough, since once we get to Hawaii I can only guess at what Clyde will remember or how he’ll be afterwards.”

Fluttershy just gently placed a hoof around Bonnie’s shoulder and gave her a squeeze as she looked down at the world. Moving over to the pilot’s seat she set up a flight path towards Hawaii, but she didn’t initiate the autopilot yet.

“Can I call dad to tell him that I’m coming in with a Death Knelled experiment? I think he really needs to know about this.” Bonnie received a questioning look. “Hey, it’s your ship and you stole it fair and square. Its better that I ask for permission since your heart is made of gold or something. We’re thick as friendly thieves’ right?”

“It’s okay to call him Bonnie; I don’t have a problem with it.” At least Fluttershy thought Bonnie understood it would have been okay with her.

Bonnie got into the seat with Fluttershy and started connecting them to Hawaii and hoped that someone was home to pick up the phone.

-

“Receiving a call from an unknown transmission in the upper atmosphere, will you take this call?” Jumba’s computer doubled as a phone and it was currently beeping loudly to let someone know there was a call being placed through.

“Hm… a call?” A pink alien with long antenna crawled up to the communications device and decided to receive it out of curiosity, mostly since they didn’t get many calls from space on this planet. There were only a few beings that would know how to call Jumba’s number.

On the screen appeared both a familiar face and one that was not as familiar wearing a pink, green and yellow suit.

-

“Well if it isn’t my youngest sister. Hey Angel, I guess it’s been a while. Can you get dad on the line real quick? I have a problem and it’s about Clyde.” Pulling out the Clyde’s pod and showing it to the other experiment, Bonnie had created a rightfully horrified reaction in the pink experiments visage. Angel then looked into Bonnie’s eyes and after a moment she nodded seriously, this was a real problem that needed to be seen to immediately.

“Oh no, must get Jumba, Death Knell!” Angel scampered away from the computer to alert anyone who could get Jumba if he wasn’t home. She recognized the problem as soon as Bonnie showed her why she was calling and obviously coming back. None of the ‘cousins’ hated Bonnie or her decision to go back into space. Clyde went with her and now he was in a very bad state.

“That was your youngest sister? She looked nice.” Fluttershy was beginning to think cute and cuddly was definitely the defining trait among everyone in Bonnie’s family.

“A reminder, her primary functions is to change you to good or evil depending on what she sings. Along with that she also has minimal mind control abilities. She has a really nice singing voice though; she even has an effect on Jumba using her powers which means she can obviously do more than what she was designed for.” At least Bonnie could always rely on her family to be unique with all their crazy abilities, the mention of a mind control aspect had made the pony rather quiet. “Heck, even Jumba doesn’t know the implications of what she’s entirely capable of if she sings the right thing. She’s in love with Stitch and I think it’s kind of awkward that incest is a huge likelihood in my family.”

“I don’t mind, didn’t you say that everyone in your family genetically dissimilar enough for that to not be a problem?” Receiving a nod Fluttershy smiled sweetly at Bonnie who was basically sitting in her lap.

“Yeah, but it’s still weird to me. I love Clyde in a platonic sense, mostly because the two of us are actually very genetically similar unlike the rest of our family.” Bonnie looked back at the slowly graying sphere in her hand. “Even though we were created to be together, as a big sister I still really haven’t done right by him often enough by listening to him when he had some input on every situation we got into. We were still quite the inseparable pair despite that.”

“Am I hearing this right, experiment one five zero is in Death Knell state? Six two four is to be keeping little girl or six two six from hearing of this. We do not need to exacerbate good moods with bad news.” Jumba came onto the screen and blinked all four of his eyes at the two looking back at him.

“Hey dad, Clyde got into a bad situation. He was tortured and to make a long story short, generally a lot of bad things that would result in this happening to him. I couldn’t even recover his prosthetic since it was stolen and used for something else.” Bonnie had a dire look on her face as she held up the grey sphere. Her father noticeably looked wide eyed at the state Clyde was in. “Can you please fix him? I don’t want to lose a part of my family.”

“Is possible as long as one five zero’s pod does not turn completely gray, but who is the one to be placing him into state in the first place?” Jumba actually looked angry, sad and regretful from Fluttershy’s perspective.

“Don’t worry; already shot the bastard… in the arm. I shot him in the arm after helping disable a big robot of doom and the guy had already tortured my beautiful friend here for a few hours. Look all that’s not really important at the moment and it’s too much of a headache to go into. The Grand Councilwoman assures me he won’t be causing us anymore trouble, likely because I traumatized him badly enough already by ripping his entire empire to shreds. Yes her majesty got off her ass and helped me out a bit, stop looking so shocked.” In her anger Bonnie had really wanted to blast Zurg’s head off, but Fluttershy convinced her to do otherwise. Scrunching up her face, Bonnie tried to focus on the reason she called. “Look I just wanted to say that me and some friends of mine are coming to Hawaii. This is Fluttershy and that is Roller back there, he’s an adaptive biological before you ask.”

“Hello Mr. Jookiba, it is so nice to finally meet you… well not in person… but on the screen at least.” Fluttershy smiled amiably at what was Bonnie’s father. He didn’t seem to be mean in person, but he definitely had the same spark of mischievousness that Discord had as he scrutinized her with his four eyes.

“Likewise as well, am being sure that we are having a meeting soon so I can talk to my experiment about you in depth.” There was quite a jovial sense of humor to his tone; then again Jumba noticed something was going on between one of his experiments and this strange creature he’s never seen before. He noted that she looks like a little adorable version of an Earth equine only with wings that were oddly mismatched. It looked like he would be dispensing some embarrassing fatherly wisdom to one of his experiments soon, most likely just after he finishes stopping one five zero’s imminent death.

-

Somewhere underground a little girl floated straight up away from a button that would have stopped the machine from doing something, she had no clue as to what her grumpy great uncle built it for but it was important to him. She was floating in front of a triangular object with a circular glowing field in it. She trusted her uncle to not be a bad man; she hoped in her heart that she was making the right decision here.

Above the place all this was happening, a huge burst of gravity exploded upwards and out of the planet’s atmosphere in the form of a blinding light beam that could be seen from space.

In fact it actually intersected with something in space.

-

Head Hunter was shielded against electromagnetic pulses and spiritual energy, the Chozo had perfected the technology against their own spiritual abilities long ago. What the ship wasn’t shielded against was gravity pulses, like the one headed straight for the ship in high orbit.

“Anyway will you be ready to receive Clyde when we get there? What in the… ah crap.” Whatever Bonnie had seen, she didn’t have time to talk about it before alarms went off in the ship after it shuddered violently and it woke up Roller who looked around revving in a panic.

“Bonnie, what is being the trouble?” Jumba showing fear for one of his children in this moment gave Fluttershy an even better opinion of him.

“Why do these things always happen to me?” Fluttershy lamented as she felt the Head Hunter tilt and felt a sudden increase in weight.

“Make that, why do things like this always happen to us Fluttershy. We were just hit by some kind of gravity pulse and it caused the engines on this ship to go down, it came from… Gravity Falls, Oregon? What an ironically named place for a gravity pulse that powerful to occur. Also our orbit is deteriorating into… dad, please call experiment two three four since we’re going to be in her neighborhood soon. Oh please don’t let my sister Shush ditz out on us… actually, better yet call Mr. Bubbles! He’s more competent; tell him that we’re going to need a cover up story and possibly a cleanup team. The projection we’re getting says that we’re going to come down in New York, right in the bay outside of Manhattan! At least it’s nighttime on that side of the planet so we should arrive there unseen. If we’re lucky we won’t hit anything coming down.”

“Is everything in the ship being the kaput? How is call even still going through then?” Jumba wondered out loud.

“Nope, only the engines are out, everything else is good and nothing seems broken. That would be our luck wouldn’t it? Whatever that burst of gravity did, it certainly messed something up, but we’re still getting all green throughout the ship.” Turning to the pony, Bonnie gave her a sad frown as she tried to get the engines back online. “Well, welcome to Earth, we can only hope everything from this point gets better Sweet Cheeks. Knowing us… yeah… not going to happen, best be prepared to think the worst of everyone we meet then. Possibly even the guys that are going to be performing the cover up for this debacle. I wouldn’t put it past them to try something funny as not all humans are as friendly as Lilo or most Hawaiians are.”

The ship didn’t break up in the atmosphere and slowly fell through it without catching on fire. It was silently coasting through the sky in a constantly downward sloping angle towards the city that never slept.

-

“Whoa, I’m sensing a new Shen Gong Wu guys and it’s coming from… way up there. It’s falling in… that direction!” Pointing towards the sky the little green Chinese dragon didn’t know what it was he was exactly sensing, but it did draw his senses towards it like any other Wu before it. The odd thing was that they already knew where all the flying related Shen Gong Wu happened to be at this moment.

-

“Brace for impact.” A completely monotone Bonnie said, who was strapped into the chair with Fluttershy to her right. On Fluttershy’s right was Roller who was whining, with a dull thud they hit the water and floated there for a second looking at the city’s splendor before the ship started sinking under the water.

Fluttershy sat there thinking for a moment and she looked to Roller then to Bonnie, she slowly worked the controls and the ship lifted up on its landing gear at the bottom of the bay. They couldn’t fly but the ship could move away from their landing site, Fluttershy directed it to start trotting along floor of the bay towards the nearest beach. Without the LGMs little modifications this wouldn’t have been possible.

“Hey now, there’s a good idea. We can’t fly, but we can still move to a better spot so nobody will find this ship. Park us under a large pier over that way.” Bonnie was taking a leadership role because she knew earth better than the pony did. She pointed in the direction Fluttershy should start walking the ship.

“It looks so much like Manehattan back home, only bigger.” Trying to gather her thoughts as she made Head Hunter scuttle across the sea floor like a crab, Fluttershy couldn’t believe the similarities between the city here and the one she’s been to back on her home planet. “This is going to be a big problem isn’t it?”

“Hey, don’t let it get to you, minor setbacks like this won’t… well it might kill Clyde. I even Pinkie Pie Promise that we will still be friends no matter the outcome of what happens to my brother, as for now we still need a way to get all the way out to Hawaii and our current mode of transportation just isn’t cutting it. It would take too long at the rate we’re traveling, unless we could fix what is wrong and frankly I’m not an engineer so that’s unlikely.” After making a rather honorable sounding promise Bonnie knew she could truly keep, she looked for a bright spot in all this. She really didn’t like the idea of risking human related hospitality anywhere but in Hawaii, unless they were humans she knew personally. “We’ll think of something Sweet Cheeks. Look at the bright side; we’re much closer to where that dame Pearl wanted us to be. All we need to do is head a little south and deliver her message; a little the detour is not going hurt in the long run. She’s clearly an alien, so she might have something we can borrow to get us to Hawaii in time.”

“You don’t seem to like your younger sister Shush.” It was better for Fluttershy to get her mind off the subject of their sudden crash landing that ended pretty well, considering it could have been much worse. A crash landing craft that can walk away from the crash itself was a good one and Bonnie’s Pinkie Promise was rather heartwarming if a bit saddening.

“Shush has the rather annoying specialty of eavesdropping on private conversations and letting everyone else in on it, plus she’s a ditz. She doesn’t live in Hawaii like most of my family does; instead she travels around with someone who keeps the CIA from causing trouble for friendly aliens like us. Do you know the reason so many aliens are interested in visiting this planet in particular? The answer is mosquitoes.” Anyone would get a strange stare at stating that, even Bonnie was expecting one from Fluttershy and she hadn’t been disappointed. “Yeah that and some aliens actually like to settle down on this planet in secret among the humans, the whole planet is declared a nature preserve for mosquitoes and the more disruptive aliens have to deal with this organization called ‘Men in Black’. It’s a good thing I know someone or else they might becomes really hostile to us about our landing here, they kind of patrol New York with a bit more force than any other place in America. There’s a whole boat load of kooky law enforcement agencies on this planet, but the MIB in particular are the best at handling hostile alien related problems in a competent manner. They won’t bother the places the Galactic Guardians have covered or places where aliens live in peace here, if the aliens can handle the problems that rise up on their own in a discreet manner then MIB won’t bother to interfere. If any situation involves aliens being caught up in the media, they will then start covering up what actually happened in numerous ways.”

“Why do these ‘Men in Black’ have to cover things up?” Fluttershy was going to defer everything to Bonnie since she was more of an expert on Earth. She missed the taste for corn cobs on a stick with her friends and the hot carrot dogs that came with ample amounts of condiments; she really had to go to Manehattan with her friends when she got back to Equus. All she’s recently had to eat was Rhizome food and those medical tomatoes that kept really well.

“This is what we would call a backwater planet. The native species are called humans and have a technology level that doesn’t get them very far into space and have only gotten to the moon so far. The ‘Men in Black’, many of which are natives to this planet, make sure that someone doesn’t get power hungry or does something incredibly stupid with advanced technology that they have absolutely no idea how to use. Imagine me giving a blaster to a child without telling them what it does first.” Seeing the pony cringe at the sudden mental image, another horrible thought just occurred to Bonnie and she realized that there are a lot of things that would upset Fluttershy on this planet. Bonnie was going to quit eating bacon; she was mostly a vegetarian anyway. “I see you get the point as to why the ‘Men in Black’ exist; the natives of this world would inevitably find imaginative ways annihilate themselves with some of the least lethal things imaginable. You’ve been thrust into all this and managed to not go insane, but can you honestly say your species as a whole are ready to be thrust into this as well?”

“No, I can honestly say that ponies aren’t ready for a lot of the things I’ve seen, do you think it’s a bad thing that they’ve seen the things I’ve been doing because of a friend of mine? I can even actually understand what you’re getting at and it scares me.” It was a little worrying to Fluttershy that those ponies might have seen too much because of Discord; hopefully she was at least becoming powerful precautionary tale to others who might want to ride a bubble away from Equus. “He actually has the power to see what I’m doing at all times and is even watching me right now.”

“Not unless he actually shows them how to build the things he’s seeing, otherwise it might only inspire the need to see the stars for themselves. Speaking of seeing things, better call dad and see if I can get him to tell my sister Shush and agent Bubbles where we are.” After a moment to ponder that course of action, Bonnie looked up at the shadow of the pier above them. “Hopefully we didn’t attract too much attention and can get them to come to us without a problem popping up.”

Author's Note:

I know this chapter can be a bit... 'dry'. I do have to work all the crossovers a bit so they actually fit together.

Gravity Falls is not going to be a major crossover, it was just that one scene to establish why things went horribly wrong for Fluttershy. Mabel Pines could have prevented it all. It was simply a chain reaction to someone else doing something and all that. No Bill Cipher for Fluttershy, but he does exist in this universe.

Men in Black- protecting you from yourselves and aliens since forever. The cartoon series was different from the movies version in quite a few ways.

Cobra Bubbles is from the Men-In-Black organization and works for them as an operative in the CIA.

It should be obvious Agent K has met The Grand Councilwoman. He and Agent J are not appearing much or at all in this story, just thought it would be nice to let you know if you're reading this.

Fluttershy does have what amounts to a Shen Gong Wu really, if a certain dragon can sense it then so can someone else.
