Twilight's appreciation for the beauty of the night sky has only increased with Luna's return, especially after they meet to discuss her latest addition. One meeting becomes two, becomes a regular outing, it's no wonder they would grow
I always dislike a Celestia like this, being quite honest.
I mean I know your's is written more as a trickster mentor than a chessmaster, but I still don't like the thought that she'll just set things up for other ponies and just marionette them along.
I mean seriously! Even your hot, incestual lover Celly? Can you go five minutes without puppeting someone?
Disregarding that great chapter as always, and, on the bright side we know two of Cely's kinks now: exhibitionism and plans coming to fruition
5093234 I can understand that, especially when taken to the extreme. I promise that this is not that bad... little more than having two friends you know will have a positive influence on each other and then wanting to see that you were right.
Hoh. Interesting. Those last few lines feels like Celestia's trying to make Twilight and Luna an item. I wonder why.
If I know a well-written Celestia, it might be self-sacrifice, so Luna has someone to love that she love fully and openly without the need for secrecy.
Meanwhile, Pinkamena Diane Pie is rubbing her hooves gleefully, a moustache pasted on her muzzle, as she writes her next invitations to her diarchs. "One of these days!" she cackles. Because, as everyone knows, she who is persistent will win in the end.
I'm also not at all against Celestia's "planning" here. I see it simply as nothing more than her trying as an older sister have her younger sister make a friend, because she cares for her.
5093234 I think you may be exaggerating a bit here. Just because she uses the word 'plan' once (after Celestia knows how many chapters), doesn't quite make her the puppeteer that can't go for five minutes without manipulating ponies.
5093288 5098275 I'll concede that I overstated things, I just hate the fanon of Celestia being the type of pony who'd sell their sister's soul for the sake of what they want.
Metaphorically of course, I've yet to meet one who's done that; but I really don't like the thought of Celestias who literally can't handle a single pony being free of their plans. It just bugs me that Celestia is planning something for someone who should be basically free of her control.
It's not as bad as it could be since, as both your replies say, she isn't really doing anything wrong, just nudging Luna along, But just the thought that she could bugs me a bit, I much prefer my autonomy thank you.
5099007 I think there's quite a difference. If I ask you to go with me to an entertainment park, then that's a plan. If we had fun, then the plan succeeded. Yet there was no puppeteering or manipulating involved.
I think Celestia being a chessmaster is something so ingrained that words like 'plan' instantly makes people think she's up to some long term manipulation scheme. Which isn't really a fair thing to assume. This 'plan' seems more like the innocent type to me, like in my example above.
5396862 Plan was probably not the best word choice on my part, but I still don't know how else to describe it. Kaiku is right... as far as my intentions go (unsurprising given her being my pre-reader), but it is what it is.
And a cliffhager. Of course.

I can't tell if Celestia is aware of Twilight's feelings and is trying to set up a love triangle or not. Given the cover image, well...

I'm dekkonot, and I approve of all three of the potential pairings.

Absolutely loved the kitchen scene.

Wait what's Tia's plan?
Oh, Tia. You so crazy.
well............. fuck DIDN'T see that curve ball coming
fucking TIA strikes agian
5099061 aye your argument is valid but you missed the clues like tia noticing twilight making an effort then mentioning every thing is going to plan

Careful Celestia... Your devious side is showing.
