4989020 due to their race being rare, they are being set up for mates either through mares ( which is what is happening) or a donation center which could of happen instead if their luck didn't suck so bad xD
Wow, Twilight should really learn a bit more tact! For a second I thought I was in the wrong story, didn't know it was a dancerdaydream. We wonder how all the stallions and mares will react when they realize they don't even want to reproduce! Keep going! ;)
4989078 Yup, though saying their luck is bad might be slightly misrepresentative.
4990870 They didn't think they were going to be set up like this. Now I doubt they could enjoy their stay if they wanted to.
4990233 I'm sure being more tactful would make the news easier to digest. Also, not getting the dancerdaydream thing. Aaaaaand, finally, that's certainly a thing to wonder, right? What do you do with ponies that don't want to do their part, hmmm?
I think Twilight's in a bit of a bind: you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink.
She can set them up with mares, and the mares in question might expect to be banged... but if the two just refuse, there isn't much she can do to force them to stud.
"What are you gonna do, rape us?"
Cue horrified looks, if I understand the characterization right.
Lock them up "for their own safety"? That would backfire decisively and spectacularly.
If they just decide walk out of Ponyville, there's not much that can be done: the guard won't do anything to hurt them, and if they try and use magic to block their escape... well, Spurglord Sparkle can't be there 24/7.
If they decide to make the ponies' lives a living nightmare, they've kind of gotten the upper-hand.
4992285 Now, there's an interesting argument here. Can Twilight force them? That's still up in the air so far.
However, if they do decide to leave, where can they go? They don't know the roads, they don't have any money, they don't even have skills as ponies to earn it. At least, they can always eat grass, if you can imagine them being willing to do that (they'd have to be pretty freaking hungry).
And, most importantly, they want to go back home. There aren't many characters they know of that could possibly help them with that. And most of them are linked to Twilight Sparkle.
Now, I would understand the "irresistable sex appeal" explanation. But everyone acts as if there is some obligation to lift their tails for bicorns. Weren't they a race created by Discord for laughs? I could understand wanting to preserve them if they were an endangered species, but they're also just some mad god's afternoon project. (Not these two, but the bicorns in pony legend) Is there some impetus to keep such a thing producing offspring, so much that mares would feel obliged to bear them? It'd be like a society of bunnies forgoing all their little bunny rights for the sake of offering those long legged rabbits Discord shat out a chance to breed.
Glad there's another chapter... but I remain skeptical that it'll make anything even slightly clearer at all.
Okay, so amazingly, there's a level of understanding yet an equal level in denial from the MCs but it's now come to their understanding, that because their "race" is so rare, apparently OP lucky and is implied super important for the benefit of Equestria, they're practically breeding stock.
In all honesty, I'd just run away. If the the OP luck is true, then no one could find me unless I want to to be found.
4993228 well depending on the time the story is set in if they went to go and get help from starlight... considering she fucked up time itself for a little bit in cannon she might be able to help... oh and she holds communist like beliefs too so being treated differently wont be much of a problem.
Those poor bastards xD, bring luck to others besides themselves it seems lol
4988602 Personally it makes me think of Rain Man...lol
Soooooo....... What are they donating exactly?

4989078 I enjoy how on top of the lore you are dear sir...lol

4989078 but why did they think enjoy pony ville while it lasts?

God. How I feel for those stallions. I remember the first time I accidentally walked into one of those things. It was horrible.
Uhh. Never again.
4992821 so very, very, very true

Indeed, not as advertised!

Time to suck it up and assist Twi perhaps?
