Applejack and Apple Bloom desperately want to get back to the farmhouse, but Winona won't be budged where she lays. What reason could this normally obedient dog have to be so... disobedient?
Winona is the Apple Family's new pet sheep dog. However, when she begins acting out of the ordinary, Applejack seeks to find out why. The truth is far from what she expected and breaks her heart. An unofficial origin story.
That's it..... THAT'S IT?! No writing on the mirrior in crimson?! Not a single shudder of fear and surprise?! *puts on stetson* Boy, yer in a whole heap o' trouble....
I remember hearing this story around the campfire(which is terrifying when you're a kid ). As soon as Applejack mentioned letting Winona lick her hoof for comfort I knew where it was going.
This story could function just as well without the ponies, that's a bad sign. And from the comments here, it's a reenactment of a internet ghost story.
Um, actually I remember this on Creepy Pasta.
"Humans can lick too" or something like that is written on the mirror when the old lady finds her dog in the bathroom the next morning.
I have read the real one and I have one comment...
YOR GRANDMOTHER TOLD YOU THIS PRIOR TO TYRING FO SLEEP?!?!?!

Pardon me, but Apple Bloom's eyes are orange.

Ahahahaha. Oops. You got me. Good eye.
After hanging up for over an hour the dripping suddenly increases for no reason? Not buying it.
A pony dying, that's one thing. But you cannot kill Winona.
Ummmm....good bed time story?
When I heard this, the person walked in, and the dog was dead in the sink, and written in blood on the sink was, humans can lick to
Might I suggest changing that to gentle, instead?
Also:
The extra "had" is unnecessary, I think.
Heh heh heh heh heh. I figured this was based off "Drip Drop." That story spooked the heck out of me when I was younger. ^^
Ponies can lick too.

6715635 Not exactly a Ghost Story but rather a Psycho Story, close enough though.
