Interesting... Instead of leaping into a tricky maneuver without thinking, now she's leaping to conclusions and reinterpreting the intent of what her friends are saying. Talk about mixed signals on the receiver side.
Interesting, indeed. I wonder how Twi and Shy will react when they find out the sort of impact their words have had? For all that they want Rainbow to be safe, I'm sure they didn't mean for her to give up her dream.
I'm predicting that of the five, AJ is the only one that'll actually *understand*. Being the more physical one of the group other than Dash, she knows how it feels. But she'll still caution Dash.
I think Dash is exaggerating to herself the extent of how upset her friends are. She keeps thinking angry but most do not seem angry but worried for her.
Also she needs to realize that yes Wonderbolts do crash but that does not mean they take stupid extra risks such as doing a loop at the end of a relay race when it is not needed.
4542209 Maybe he's actually a psychopath, but didn't want to get in trouble for murder so he signed up as a doctor so he can legally break ponies or cut them up?
It's so interesting. I want to know how you're going to tie in that Mature/Sex tag. I am intrigued, and I love how you're characterizing them. You've got Rarity spot on, from what I can see. There are few stores that LITERALLY never leave one room, are multiple chapters, and can STILL keep me so interested and excited for the next chapter.
4542521 It's more like...Crashing is going to happen, but Rainbow takes a lot of unnecessary risks, and ends up crashing when she really shouldn't have been in a position to to begin with. This crash was not because she did a trick, or even an unnecessary trick, but because she did a stunt without practice. Odds on that Fleetfoot's book has as much to say about learning how NOT to crash as it does about crashing. I would wager AJ is going to be the one is able to explain this to Dashie in a way that makes more sense to her.
4542742 I honestly relate to Dash here. After a few rather bad incidents where my teammates got injured or worse, I freaked out and jumped to the conclusion that I wasn't strong enough to protect them. As a result, I started training so hard that I often collapsed, and even then I would try to keep going until I passed out. It wasn't helping me, but I kept doing it, even though my team and those I love repeatedly tried to stop me. It took a year, a trip to Equestria, and to make me realize I wasn't helping anyone. So I know the feeling she has. The conflicted feeling, the want to help her friends... I've been there.
They couldn`t handle more than a few drops of hot sauce, for example. Rainbow Dash could take a cup-full, at least. Pinkie Pie could down entire bottles of the stuff without breaking a sweat, and Rarity could hold her own, too.
Seems like I`m more similar to Pinkie than I really thought.
Man, these first three chapters paint a picture of Rainbow Dash as severely mentally handicapped, only capable of grasping the world around her in the simplest possible terms. Her friends are either happy or angry at her - no possibility of nuance of complexity. Everything is a case of black-and-white, all-or-nothing absolutes:
Crashing = hurting friends! Hurting friends = bad! Flying = crashing! Conclusion: No more flying!
Sure, Rainbow is, next to Pinkie Pie, one of the most childish and immature adults in the MLP ensemble, but that's the kind of reasoning even an actual child would find ridiculously oversimplified. This is something that might happen in an episode of the real show, being played for laughs, because even the younger kids can tell that Rainbow is being silly - but this fic isn't exactly aimed at the same demographic, and Rainbow's oversimplifications and misinterpretations aren't played for humour, but seem to be the setup for some drama to come in the next chapters.
Don't get me wrong, though: Despite my nitpicking, the story holds my interest, and I'm continuing to read on - I'm just noting my impressions along the way, namely that these first chapters make Rainbow Dash look a lot more simple-minded than you probably intended.
Suddenly, Rainbow Dash wished again that she had called Pinkie Pie back for that hug. A hug wouldn’t have been so bad right then. Not just from Pinkie Pie. Rainbow Dash would have taken one from anyone, really... except for that sadistic fuck with the goggles.
aww Poor Rainbow Dash is confused ...

So what's up with that doctor? He seems a little too eager to beak bones...
You forgot to capitalize "Wonderbolts" here.

The characters are well written and the story is still very interesting, can´t wait for AJ´s honest bomb!

Well only one thought courses through my mind. (When is the next chapter going to be up. I hope it's soon. )
I get the feeling that her wings would be flared like the entire time her friends are there. If they weren't broken...

That doctor has an awful bedside manner. I wish to file a complaint.

Let me guess, his name is Doctor Bone Break? And don't laugh, I legitimately know a REAL doctor named Bonebrake (which is close enough).
Love the story so far.
Man, they all need some group therapy. Especially Rainbow.
Spike could run it.
...Actually, we haven't seen what Spike thinks. That could legit be a good idea, so Twilight could still be part of the group therapy.

1.) Is group sex coming soon? I was promised sex.
2.) That doctor, I swear to god.
