A long time ago, when Equestria was plunged into eternal hell and rebellion was frequent, Princess Celestia devided up Equestria into 12 Districts, every year, the 12 Districts select 2 ponies at random, one stallion and one mare, to train to survive, and to compete in The Pony Games, a fight to the death, where if you lose, it meant death. In the end, when there is only 1 left, will that pony be let out of the arena, as victor of The Pony Games.
All of Equestria will be watching.

This was... interesting. It seemed very rushed. Not a lot of emotion shown through the words. And it seems that if someone didn't read The Hunger Games, they would be very confused. And one more thing. If it's supposed to follow The Hunger Games closely, I think it's supposed to be the 74th Hunger Games. Because (Spoilers from here on out) after Katniss and Petta win, they have to play again in the Quarter Quell (Or whatever it's called) which is the 75th Hunger Games. Hence, the Quarter part.

I have read your comment and taken everything you have stated into deep thought. Here's my response.
This first part is going to seem rushed just a little because well... What fun is it to keep readers out of the action?
This is only my second fanfiction, and my first crossover so just bare with the emotion shown in the words and stuff like that.
This fanfiction is supposed to follow The Hunger Games from sort of a summerative point of view, so yes, it might seem different (Such as it being the 70th Pony Games) but remember, the mane 6 and some other ponies are being thrown into an arena to kill each other.
I agree with everypony, it was a bit rushed....but it was interesting
I can already guess who is going to be who in the storyline. Like how the dresser is going to be rarity, or the person taken from the farming district is applejack. I'm going to track it...but not like it yet. Once I see you can actually make a good story and not copy everything from the actual hunger games...then I will like it.

If you don't mind me saying , people don't exactly seek out automatic action . Stories should be centered around characterization, history, and development . Action is nice , yes , but , in the Hunger Games , they don't instantly go into the action . There is an outline of Katniss's life , her companions and family even . And then there is information . The events leading to her volunteering and then training as she interacts with various characters . And then comes the survival , action , and so on and so forth . I'm planning on making a My Little Pony | Hunger Games combination one day . But I'll keep my eye on this story . It has captured my interest .
I apologize if I offend . I'm not a perfect writer nor am I a master at storytelling .
