We ALL know about the butterfly effect, where a Butterfly flapping it's wings can cause disasters. Well, sometime before Twilight Moved to Ponyville, Applebloom got her Cutie Mark. Since she got her cutie mark she didn't know how it felt to be a blank flank and couldn't make friends with Scootaloo or Sweetie Belle. How unfortunate that the butterfly didn't flap it's wings at the right time because of a Sonic Rainboom...

Warning, Applebloom as the chapters go on will act more and more like a bully whilehaving self-doubt. If you don't want to read something like that, then why did you click this story? Also Diamond Tiara will be a tiny bit more cruel than usual. The Cutie Mark Crusaders are still going to be together, but Applebloom, having already gotten her mark early in this story, won't be with them, instead Rumble replace her as the third crusader.

During a rash of mysterious disappearances, a horribly-injured, gibbering colt staggers into town, attacking everyone in sight. When Acting-Psychiatrist Twilight Sparkle is assigned to treat him, she begins to feel the pull of a stranger, darker world, hidden in the shadow of our own. In an effort to discover the truth, she gathers together a group of similarly-affected ponies to delve the secrets of the Dream Highways, and perhaps, in the process, turn aside fate.

(First version; will be revamped and re-written as much as needs be once it's finished. Desperately needs a beta-reader or two. There will also be pictures and whatnot later, once I get around to finishing them.)

This story is a sequel to War of the Unfoals

A name is more than just a word. It's an identity.

So when you pop into existence at the age where most other ponies have one, you realize that you need one yourself. Which poses a problem for those who's parents never had them.

After all, ponies with identities don't become unfoals.

And for one colt, getting a name from his parents might not be quite so simple...

This story is a sequel to Perspectives Taken

Applebloom’s day in the orchard feels wrong from the start—every sound, scent, and touch reminding her of what’s missing since Applejack’s passing. Seeking answers, she turns to Fluttershy, only to stumble into a tangle of jealousy over Dinky’s bond with her, memories too raw to hold, and the vulnerability she’s learned to hide. In the quiet of a gathering storm, she must decide whether to keep her distance or accept a rare moment of comfort that could change the way she carries her grief.

This stand-alone story follows Applebloom after the events of Perspectives Taken. It can be enjoyed on its own, but contains mild spoilers for those who haven’t read that far in the main narrative. For the fullest emotional impact, reading Perspectives Taken first is recommended
