Negative Mare

Negative Mare

"Alright.. I need to get ready to perform the spell without causing too much damage in here!"

Today was the day when Apple Bloom finally decides to try something new after few years of teaching and living her great life like everyone else. Today she was going to experiment with.. summoning magic!

At first it sounded like something dangerous and creepy, but still, if you're that kind of person who likes those stuff, you'll find this really amusing and of course, interesting. Apple Bloom was surprisingly interested in this case.

Now, if she really wanted to perform summoning, she needed those specific things:

- A bucket full of goat blood, or apple cider mixed with black paint;

- A small, dark room, where she could do the spell;

-And, obviously, a spell book, incase she forgets the words for the spell.

On the next day, Apple Bloom was fully ready.

After her job as a teacher was over, she looked for the perfect room. Then she found it.

It was a small, dark room with a broken light, one window and unused brooms all over the place, but it was still the perfect room.

The earth pony carefully dropped the bucket of ruined cider and painted a star with two circles around it. After this was done, she locked the door behind her and pulled out the spell book out of the bag she was carrying it in and read the magic words.

"Agaratha. Merrethes! Orthaments!!"

She shouted those words that would make the spell work. Then, the circles around the painted star glowed in a eyeblinding green color.

Out of reflex, Apple Bloom closed her eyes and covered her face with the book.

Right in the middle of the star, a small portal appeared and a small orb full of flashing colors and lights showed up. Then the whole room became lighter that the lightest day in the world for few seconds.

When this was over, the room went dark again and Apple Bloom could safely open her eyes again.

"Did it work?" She asked herself. Then she looked again into the painted star and discovered something new.

There was a.. pony-like body, just laying on the ground, unconscious.

"Ohh gosh! Don't tell me that i just summoned a dead body!? I wasn't going for that!"

Apple Bloom didn't know what to do. She looked around the small room, only brooms and spider webs.

The mare grabbed one broom and poked the body with it to check if it's alive.

. . .

Apple Bloom's pupils became smaller from shock when the pony laying on the ground moved.

She took one step backwards as the pony got up and looked at her orange eyes.

Apple Bloom asked the pony.

"Wh.. what is your name?"

The pony looked around and lighted up the room with magic. Yes, it was a unicorn. But not just a unicorn, but also a mare.
Her green coat wasn't really matching the pale yellow pallete of her mane and tail which made her look like an unlikable homeless creature. Her dark green eyes with black sclera weren't hiding the bad vibes this mare was caring either.

"I am Green Sky. And.. i guess i should thank you for freeing me from the depths of Tartarus? Heh, honestly though, i'm never in the mood of thanking ponies, but, i guess you pass. Bye-bye!"

And within a second her horn glowed and she teleported.

"Oh, darn it!"

Apple Bloom rushed out of the school to find the mischievous mare that she summoned.

"I need to find her! I need to find her, or i'll be in big trouble!"

Apple Bloom continued on running, then she stopped as the young mare noticed hoovesteps on the path. She thought that they might be Green's so she followed them.

The hoovesteps were leading to Sweet Apple Acres. And just like Apple Bloom thought, the summoned mare was there, raising chaos around the place. She was throwing the apples like basketballs around with her telekinesis. Sugar Belle, Big Mac and Big Sugar were trying to stop her, but with no success. Apple Bloom had to do something right now.

"HEY! Green Sky!!" She shouted.

The green unicorn turned around, facing her from away. She dropped the apples that she was gonna throw and teleported again.

Both Big McIntosh and Sugar Belle noticed Apple Bloom who was galloping towards them. They waited for her to get close enough to them so they can ask her about the green mare that was raising chaos around the barn.

"Apple Bloom! Who in the name of Twilight was that?" The cerise coated mare was clearly a little mad. "Just please, don't tell me she's your friend." This time her anger was toned down a little, sounding more concerned than before.

"No! No, she's not my friend in any way, i knew that she might do something like that! I just want to find her and stop her, once and for all!"

Big Sugar heard his aunt's words and his curiousity raised.

"Oh! Aunt Bloom, can i help you with catching this mare? Dad, mom?? Can i?! Can i, please???"

Sugar Belle looked at her son.

"Well, alright, if you really want to help her." Sugar then looked at her husband. "What do you say, Big Mac?"

The red stallion didn't say anything at first, he looked at Big Sugar with a slight concern then he answered with a slightly bright tone on his voice.

"Yup!" And just before the little, purple colt could run with his aunt, Big Mac added. "Apple Bloom, make sure to protect your little nephew!"

Apple Bloom nodded. Then she and the little Sugar galloped away from the barn, searching for the chaotic mare.

A whole day has passed, yet both of them still haven't found Green.

Right when Apple Bloom was about to give up, Big Sugar pointed at Saddle Lake. The same green mare that they were searching for, was just sitting there, looking bored and uninspired to do things. Apple Bloom got exited when she saw her and galloped right towards her.

Green Sky heard them and turned her head around.

"Oh, you found me." Said the mare, almost soudning surprised. "Together with that little berry-of-a-pony."

Big Sugar stepped infront of Apple Bloom.

"Hey! I'm no berry! I just got my mother's coat and dad's mane and tail. Oh, and i'm from the Apple family, so don't call me 'berry'!"

Green laughed when she heard Sugar's clarification. This made him feel a little embarrassed.

"Don't listen to her, Big." Apple Bloom whispered into her nephew's ear to calm him down.

When the green mare was done laughing, she got up and wiped the sand off of herself.

"You guys should be ashamed of yourselfs." Apple Bloom and Big Sugar looked confused at her. "What i mean is that you guys gave me back my inspiration to bring back chaos around! And! I'll start with your little hometown over those hills!!"

Green Sky's horn shined again and like earlier, she teleported to Ponyville.

"Oh brother.." Apple Bloom sighed. She was starting to get mad at the green mare. "C'mon, Sugar! We're going on a Mare Hunt!!"

Big Sugar's green eyes sparkled in joy and inspiration. He was ready for another adventure with his favorite aunt.

When they arrived at Ponyville, nothing seemed like was happening. It didn't look like a crazy chaotic mare was causing trouble around without any remorse.

Apple Bloom decided to ask some random strangers if they have seen Green. Nobody said something that'll help the yellow mare, until Big Sugar decided to ask Derpy the delivery pony. She pointed at the centre of the town, where the pink fountain was.

"Aunt Bloom!" The colt shouted. "I found out where Green is!!!"

When they finally reached the fountain, they found the mare that they were searching for. She was casually taking a bubble bath in the pool-like part of the town's fountain.

"Seriously?" Apple Bloom asked the mare while standing beside her, outside the fountain. Green Sky stopped washing herself once she heard the yellow mare speaking. She just laughed it off, like she always did. Just laughing things away. Apple Bloom didn't feel any happiness when she heard Green's annoying laugh, she just had enough with her. "Stop laughing and get out of the darn fountain!!" She grabbed her tail with her mouth and threw her as far as her strength could let her.

Before Green's body could even touch the ground, she stopped her fall with her telekinesis. The mint green aura shined across her green and yellow body.

"Pwahahah!! You can't hurt me, Bloomy!" Green Sky mocked.

That enraged Apple Bloom even more, but before she could do anything, Big Sugar shouted out of nowhere.

"HEY!! Green mare!!" Green Sky turned to Big's side, seeing that he's holding a green apple in his left front hoof. He bit one piece from the apple, chewed it up and swallowed it. "If you're gonna sound like you're hating on The Apples, then try to eat.. THIS!!!"

The purple colt threw the bitten apple as hard as he could at Green's face. Then it hit her right in the right eye while she was still looking. Green Sky screamed in pain and then carefully removed the apple.

"Ough, that hurt, you cunt!" The mare cursed. It's been years since the last time she cursed like that and she felt good on letting one go like this. But before anyone could say or do anything else, a lasso flew out of nowhere and wrapped around Green Sky's body. "What the-?!" Before she could finish her sentence, she got crushed on the ground.

When the mare opened her eyes, she saw an orange mare, looking down at her with her green, frowned eyes.

"If i were you, i should have watched my mouth, young lady." Said the earth mare in a passive-agressive tone.

Green Sky was about to cast another "amazing" spell on the earth mare, when she heard her name being shouted from distance.

"Aunt Applejack!! You came!"

"Applejack?!" Green thought. "This is Applejack herself?! She looks older?"

"Guess, we're takin' you to prison if you're causing chaos like this." Aj smiled at the mare adn she frowned back. "Now don't show me the long face, we'll take you to the princess, now and she'll decide on what to do with ya!"

After seeing princess Twilight for advice and Apple Bloom explaining more details of the whole story, Green Sky was banished back to Tartarus.

When the three earth ponies went back home, Applejack decided to talk to her sister.

"Say, you actually tried to experiment with summoning magic?"

"Yeah, and it didn't go pretty well as we saw.."

"Well, Apple Bloom, that's pretty much what happends when we do something that hasn't been done for long time. Also, it would be better, if you asked somebody that knew how to properly cast spells like this!" Aj paused on talking to look at her little sister. "Hey, at least everyone's okay! But still, i hope that you learned your lesson."

Apple Bloom raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"Wait, what was the lesson?"

Applejack gigled.

"Not to mess with less used spells of course!"
