The first time I saw Amending Fences, I didn't get the significance of Spike saying "Here's the rest of it", and so his picture at the end seemed like a deus ex. But I caught it and that's actually very clever. Wow. What an episode, huh? I'm surprised by how tense and emotional it got in places. I'm a little bummed by no Celestia where she would definitely fit, but other than that I can't think of much I didn't like about this episode. Other than Prince(ess) Big Mac which felt contrived, but whatever. Plus, the surreal imagery of the episode was fantastic, the Tantibus especially. That shot of it slowly traveling through the fissure was legitimately unsettling and I loved it.

Well, my followers and readers, the episode that all Luna fan boys and fan girls(including myself) were waiting for. So, was the waiting for it? At least, in my eyes? I also found some aspects of this episode a bit lacking– the dreams were a bit odd, creative in some aspects but a bit annoying in others. I think if the dreams were more similar to scenarios like in the Nightmare Rarity comic, than I would have enjoyed them more. I liked Pinkie and Rainbow’s dreams but the over-absurdity made it work, especially Rainbow’s.
