Make no mistake, or you'll never escape!
That... That was absolutely beautiful, almost beyond words.
Ori and the Blind Forest beaten at 100%. My hats off and congratulations to Moon Studios; your game joins only two others (Halo 4 and The Last of Us) to bring tears to my eyes as the credits began to roll.
As Brady began to make his way through Ori and the Blind Forest, I quickly realized that instead of moving onto my next backlog title, I hadn't had enough yet. So I started over on Hard.
Another 100% run, this time on Hard. Brady has also completed his Normal run at 93% and is intent on going back and getting the last 7%.
Needless to say, we're both clamoring for the sequel, which is due out this year.
Just seen the promo of the next MLP:EG. Here is my theory. Everfree forest on the equestrian side has a theluric sink hole that suck a bit of magic out of Equestria. Resulting in a more earth like ecosystem. Throw in some chaos magic gorged plunder vines and you got a spooky forest (note that it got a bit less spooky since the vine removal) . Now on the human side of things you got a leak of tainted magic (explaining why the sirens didn't try and consume it) that created a mad forest spirit.
Since I'm continuing to play Dead Space 3 episodic-style (no more than 30-60 minutes at a time) I returned to Ori for a third time, and set out to complete the game without spending any Ability Points for the Elite achievement.
Didn't really think I'd do it in one night.
Clocked in at 3 hours, 41 minutes, 15 seconds.
So, yeah.
I'm going to be writing a sci-fi fic very soon. And the title?
Overgrown
Basically, humanity, due to the events of the "Overgrow Disaster" now resides in a mountain complex in Massachusetts, where they are same.
From what, you ask?
The forest that now covers most of the former United States, and the mutated animals living there.
Artwork for Chapter 4 is up on my Deviantart page now. It's the scene where the Pegasi are fighting the Mud Treader (the large creature in Chaos's forest). It took me a while to make it (lots of detail and characters). Check it out here if you'd like. Sorry it took me so long to get anything done for this story. Life gets busy.

Ori and the Blind Forest
Ori, like much of my backlog, was purchased for dirt cheap during a Steam sale and not given a second thought afterwards.
And I'm kicking myself for it. It's proving to be a phenomenal experience so far. The simple-to-learn, difficult-to-master platforming is superbly balanced with a manual checkpoint system.
Hey guys, and welcome back to another Fandom Music Friday. These past two weeks, I haven't put up an FMF. Part of that was me packing up my stuff from college and trekking a quarter of the way across the U.S. Part of that was me psychologically crawling into a hole and not wanting to come out. Grades this semester were... less than great. Less than good, even. But wouldn't you know it, I stumbled onto the exact song I needed at the time. I found "Isn't It Great to be Different" by
But it's here, and so adorable. And bigger than I thought.
My friend Eveeka is working on publishing the first volume of Forest Spirits, an original comic! You may have seen her work before in the My Little Pony fancomics The Last Adventure and
Haven't been writing at all.
SWTOR, Netflix, photography, and work, that's been my routine the past couple weeks. Went for a morning walk through a small forest park on the other side of town. Made me miss living on that side.
An idea crawled into my brain tonight. It burrowed in deep and laid its eggs, and as the night has gone on more and more of them have hatched, and I've found myself with a theory that I must rid myself of (and perhaps, if the theory is successful, the ideas will crawl into your brain too.)
Sorry for long wait everyone, it has been a long year of building my credit, my life and my career. But today I finally hit the crux of what I’ve been working so hard for. I finally succeeded in getting my pre-approval for a VA home loan and will now be able to get myself a house. I know I haven’t had much time to write but it has been more than worth the break to make it this far.
Prepare my friends, for a Man trapped in a world not his own, hounded by those who think him a monster for actions he took in his own defense.
Watch the shadows, for He Walks them on a path of blood and tears.
With that mildly disturbing intro out of the way, I would like to announce that I will be posting the first chapter of a new story within a day or two (it’s undergoing final editing) and that it will be a wild trip!
