Badlands Vacation Pictures · 2:13am Sep 8th, 2016

Sunrise at Sage Creek Campground.

We had to set up a tarp to protect the flame of our camping stove from the 20 mph winds that regularly came through. The tarp was pretty cheap on Amazon and did not survive the windy week.

Jerky: Arrived · 2:34pm Jul 6th, 2016

Currently in the freezer until we depart in just under two months.

The plan was only five pounds, but ten was at an outrageously low price, so I have no doubt I'll have plenty to share with friends upon returning.

Now to get some fruit (most likely dried) and decide on drinks.

Too Good To Pass Up?! Who Did This?! · 1:19pm Jan 29th, 2018

Ok, so I was looking for a map of Equestria and I came across this:

It was wayyy too funny to pass up! This might offend some people, and I'm sorry...but I really couldn't help myself.

Back Home! · 6:44pm Sep 21st, 2022

Returned home from vacation safely.

Photo dump coming soon, likely in multiple blog entries, curated from a total of 633 photos taken over two-and-a-half days.

That certainly wouldn't have been possible without the most unexpected find upon first getting to the campground:

Two stories at once. Have I gone insane?! · 4:02am Aug 26th, 2016

Someone help! I think I'm mentally unstable! I'm suffering from writer's block with Freak Show's story, and now I'm going to start another one?!

I need to stop this madness! Anyways, maybe you're interested?

The new book is going to be another backstory, but this one is called "The Equestrian Badlands" The main character, you ask? She's such a little sweetheart!

I don't want to spoil it for you, so I'll just tell you the setting:

Okay, I'll be honest for a second... I'm not really sure what to say about this fic going into it, I've read it before, but there are some, things that need to be addressed.

Badlands 2022: Ghost Towns Okaton and Owanka · 7:47pm Sep 21st, 2022

The badlands are named such not for their beauty or danger, but for the fact that they are almost entirely agriculturally useless throughout this continent's recorded history.

When the government was giving out 160-acre squares in the late 1800's to whomever would live and farm the land after paying a small fee, every single one of the plots was bought up.

The Curse of the Statuettes, Chapter Five · 11:35pm Sep 29th, 2019

My story, The Curse of the Statuettes, received an update today. Chapter five, entitled The Runaway Professor, was published earlier.

Having got the grappling harnesses from the extremely dangerous Site A, Sparkler, Stonecutter and Cloudburst elected to head straight to Dustmane Ridge rather than go back to Site B and Doctor Caballeron.

One of those weeks where it feels like life's just sorta... plowed over you? You're blinking in the aftermath going what the hay just happened? Why am I starting this blog with so many questions? I don't know, can you tell me?

Wavelengths Dreamers Arc Book 1: A Study in Chaos Theory live NOW! · 6:10pm Feb 5th, 2018

Months in development, A Study in Chaos Theory is the first major book in the Wavelength Timeline's third act, the Dreamers Arc. I've been waiting for this moment for a long time. Things are finally in motion!

EA Study on Chaos Theory
Harmonic bonds aren't the most predictable of spells. Sunset learned this the hard way with Twilight. Involving Moon Dancer will make things either extremely complicated, or extremely simple. And that has nothing to do with harmonic bonds.
