Would this work for when the Mane Six embark on their adventures with the Transformers?
Would this work for when the Mane Six embark on their adventures with the Transformers?
From what I’ve read, besides anything Disney-related, only movie franchises and series that aren’t connected with one another (i.e. MCU, DCEU, Monsterverse) are the only stuff allowed for the MLP Cinematic Adventures series. Am I wrong?
And while I won't be dropping any spoilers until the full write-up...
Whoo-hoo, what a ride that was.
It was thrilling, dramatic, emotional, and still had some good moments of humor too.
I really enjoyed myself. Definitely a worthy culmination to an era of moviemaking that started back in 2008 with RDJ and Iron Man.
Hey guys.
I realize there haven't been any recent updates to Consequences. Rest assured, I do know exactly where the story is going from here. We are, in fact, closing in on the end of Act 2 and moving into Act 3. But I'm still working on the transition between the two and I just haven't felt like anything I've written for it has been good enough.
I said I'd write up my fuller thoughts on this movie, and I finally - finally - delivered.
Some spoilers to follow, for anyone who still cares.
Wow. Can you believe that it's been, what, six years since the last time Deadpool was on the big screen?
I saw the movie yesterday. A full write-up will be forthcoming, but for now?
It was fun. I'm glad I saw it. Very nice to see Hugh Jackman one more time in particular, though there was a lot of enjoyable stuff in this one besides just seeing Wolverine in the yellow-and-blue at last.
It was good.
Really good.
I had a lot of fun with it, and after the more disappointing Marvel movies of 2021 (mainly Black Widow and Eternals) I was very pleasantly surprised by just how strong a film No Way Home was. It was ambitious, but it didn't come off as bloated; it was fun, without sacrificing more emotional or heartfelt moments; and its ending really took me by surprise - but in a good way.
Yes I finally saw My Little Pony: The Movie and it is a cinematic masterpiece. This great movie truly did not deserve to be rip to shreds by the critics. MLP The Movie is truly one of the best films of 2017 and the best animated movie of 2017. It is more darker and grittier than the show. And the way Princess Twilight Sparkle, Capper The Cat, and Spike The Dragon take care of the villains in this movie that would make Michael Keaton's Batman very proud. I am so proud of Hasbro for making this
As I've mentioned elsewhere, my life of late has been a series of stressful events which killed my productivity. As a result of the circumstances surrounding some of those events, I've found it really hard to work on Consequences. I'll be getting back to it soon, but I'm gonna take some time to reset by working on lighter fare for the immediate future. I have another BCU story in the works and then, I plan on writing a happy, silly, goofy pile of smut. Yes, smut.
---
To those of you who thought the latest Group Precipitation short was my only entry into the BCU, I have this to say:
You poor, sweet summer children.
The train wreck has officially crashed into the station. Enjoy/I'm sorry. (Delete whichever is appropriate.)
So yeah, if you follow me here, you've probably noticed that my last three posted stories are all set in the highly deranged, but oddly compelling Beanis Cinematic Universe. If you haven't read these stories and like highly silly absurd sex comedy, you should do so. Despite the main... (tries not to say "thrust." Fails.) thrust of the story, it's not clop, and any "on-screen" sexual shenanigans are done more for comedy
In an effort to get things moving on Phase 3 of the Beanis Cinematic Universe, I am suspending this week's work on Consequences in order to finish a BCU story needed to set things up for Phase 3 by this weekend.
Consequences updates will continue next week as normal. Sorry for the delay.
Have you seen EndGame?
Confirming what was already highly suspected, Warner Brothers has tapped Ben Affleck to not only direct the upcoming Batman solo film, but he will also write it as well.
