Time for some nostalgia critiques, where Starlight remembers it so we don’t have to.

This week, the MLP Time Loops become that much closer to canon, albeit with a much shorter loop time. Let’s get this rondo rolling.
Is this the weekend of airships or what? I’m certainly not complaining. Let’s cast off and take the tour.
Well, time to face facts on this one. For years, I’ve been saying that I’d revisit this story when Wizards revisited New Phyrexia. Now Vorinclex has barged into Kaldheim, and…
Well, at least I’m getting a card blog out of it.
Time to catch up on the side comics. While I may complain about the minutiae (and not-so-minutiae) I am genuinely glad to see so much pony content still coming out, especially the Classics Reimagined line giving the G4 cast more to do. But first, we’re heading back to camp.
As some of you may remember, I used to do reviews of every MLP episode, and stopped midway through Season 3. I still kind of wanna continue those in depth reviews eventually, but at this point I don't have the motivation. But since I've been rewatching the whole show, I decided I could at least muster up the energy to give my general thoughts on each season, though I'm grouping the first 3 into one 'review' since I already made full reviews of most of these episodes.
Season 1
All but one, anyway. So far, the chapter seems to be a hit, leaving us on schedule for a Halloween night release. It'll be a shorter chapter (around 9k words) than those I've released earlier in the year, but that's because it’s a prelude to a much longer and more intense one to come.
A bit under two years after we saw the sun set on Equestria (and putting aside the fever dream of an interlude,) it is finally time to see how the golden age of Twilight tarnished into a long, dark night of Equestria’s soul… and the rise of a new Sunny era. Let’s begin.
Still not came to finish translating and correcting the Second Chapter of "Royal Friendship". Had my first case of Covid the last three weeks and then felt with no energy left ever since until today. (I´m still fairly young so no worry. Got my physical health back in full).
The first Eros chapter awaits one more completed preread and an additional editing pass before publishing. I’ll do the latter this evening after I get home from work, as the plan remains to launch it tonight at around 8 PM US Eastern. If I’m lucky, it will feature for the first time. I think the like/dislike ratio is good enough at this point.
Prereader, apprentice, and partner in crime AJ_Aficionado entered the Summer Sin Celebration M-rated story contest with a story that met parameters desired by a random fimfiction user. It was preread and heavily edited/added to in places by yours truly, who greatly enjoyed doing so:

We turn once more to the official novels, and this time it’s a new author. Let’s see what the human world has to offer.
Okay, so I’m set to watch the episode, right? Knew it was a Rarity episode, some kind of shenanigans involving the rest of the Mane Six at some point, not much beyond that. This? This was not what I expected.
Ah, thank you.
What? No, I just ordered the pancakes because I can't digest, like, half of the menu. Hay. Human. Not a good mix. Don't worry, your expense account is safe with me. Where was I?
Right. Now, I’m not saying it was bad. I’m not sure what I expected, but this…
I’m playing a little fast and loose with the schedule this week, but as of writing this, I have a contest deadline to race, RL friends to meet, and a performance of Khan! the Musical to see with my mom as a belated Mother’s Day gift, so reviewing a pony novel isn’t feasible.
Yeesh. They aren’t pulling any punches, are they? This is indeed the final premiere of Friendship is Magic. Let’s see how we start the endgame.
And so we move on to the English manga, which should provide me with a few months’ worth of content properly spaced out. Let’s see how it opens
10,000 words of pure unbridled fanfic glory about Misty.
This should certainly be interesting. I’m not entirely sure what to expect from this part of My Little Pony’s ruby jubilee (along with the Bridlewoodstock special and… well, Ruby Jubilee,) but there’s certainly a lot to take in. Let’s begin.
As if in response to his notable absence last week, this episode is all about Spike, the cause of and solution to all life’s problems.
