April Fools is coming. · 2:51am Mar 28th, 2019
Y'all gon be in for a surprise...
Another update. This one's interesting. I guess Hasbro gets a LOT of requests from people to use their properties and have a form specially for that. So I filled one out and emailed it to them. If they accept, I can put our favorite ponies into the game ^_^
Should take about 4-6 weeks...
You can find them here, but I picked out the notable bits:
I wrote a review of the premiere of Pony Life over on ResetEra, but I figured that since I have an audience here, it should be posted here too. I don't intend to post every episode review, but I figured a new Pony series was enough reason to post this.
I've actually been enjoying writing for Pony-MeTM for the past few days. Compared to how the plot of the Lab Horse series had begun to stagnate in the latter portion of Equestrian Human, Pony-Me is instead pretty open-ended, and gives me a ton of new material to work with as far as worldbuilding goes.
I'm also liking the writing style that I've been using for it, and I can already tell that it's kinda bleeding into some of the other things that I've been writing.

So the new recipe is out! Oh and the next chapter too, but as said I added a recipe in the authors note.

You know the one.
A sheaf of papers, prefaced with a short letter, all written in a sturdy, simple hand.
Abbot Stillwater,
When we parted ways, you asked me to record my wanderings, my friendships, my hard-won lessons and my failures. As you have already instructed me thoroughly on my failures, I have nothing else to report to that effect. To the other items, I am pleased to offer several instances of success.
Just letting you guys know, first new chapter this year

What do you guys like the most? Normal ponies, anthropomorphic, or humans stories?
Loved it! A few little quibbles, not all the acting from the newcomers was stellar and sadly parts of the gender-related stuff felt awkward and forced, eg "something a male-presenting Time Lord wouldn't understand", but I liked much more than I didn't. Plus one of my worries about the new Disney-cash-infused Who has been dispelled: this definitely did not feel like a big American series. The ending with Donna spilling her drink into
Not on here, I should say. While I'm fine with making the occasional non-MLP post, I certainly don't want to do a hundred or so of them! Why that many, I hear you ask? Because I am seriously tempted to do a chapter-by-chapter reread, blogging about it as I go. I have read the books before, more than once, but the idea still appeals. I expect it would be posted over on my Dreamwidth. If anyone's interested, keep an eye out as I'll
Sunset Shimmer is not best pony.
*dodges flung items* Let me finish!
She is not best pony because we see her for all of three minutes as a pony. Now if we had her return to Equestria for any length of canonical time, then yes, she would be best pony on my list.
She is currently best character by growth, followed closely now by Starlight Glimmer as of the end of season six.
Sigh...I said I wasn't going to do this....dammit.

Happy New Year, everyone! Sorry for the lateness of this, but real life's been impacting on all sorts of things.
It hasn't been a very happy year, but I can't complain. Lots of people have had worse. My thoughts go out to them.
Alrighty, so for those of you who are interested in a document with all of the info on the world of Pony-Me collected in one place, or for those interested in working on the collab, here's a thing I've written.
The document below the break goes over everything from the setting, to the lore, to even the economic feasibility of Pony-Me based on current e-commerce and DLC practices.
