Honestly, I'm not at all surprised. Their films aren't even good in the first place. Nobody asked for unnecessary Ice Age and Rio sequels.

Majority of the films verge on funny and ridiculous which I'm really not a fan of. Them playing it safe by adhering to the "animation is for kids" ideology garnered their cash cow films with mixed/average critical reception.

That's what happens when money-driven corporations like them don't innovate. Goodbye and good riddance, I guess.

Recurring Symmetry is a lot of firsts. It's my first one-shot over five thousand words, first G5 fic, and first fic where I've engaged with the wider Fimfiction community. Where do I go when my path weighs even across both sides? I always think I can observe it closer, deeper and deeper, on the scale of worth and value, there should be a dent that puts one side over the edge. And if not, I scrutinize closer. The roly-poly has a lot figured out. This Graymaiden stays protected, living in the places other do not look for in places shielded from sight. Whole societies spring up under rocks and moss. Even when they are found, their last defense is rolling together, curling up into a ball of security, a personal safe haven at the cost of being cut off from the rest of the world. Their whole life follows that plan, and they have survived this long.
