Hello readers! Welcome back!
Hello readers! Welcome back!
Hello readers! Sorry for the lateness of this post. I didn’t sleep well last night, and that kind of lead me to sleep in this morning once I actually did fall into slumber.
But you aren’t here for that, you’re here for Being a Better Writer. And we’re diving right into it, as is fitting when you consider the title.
Welcome back readers! I hope you had an enjoyable weekend! It was (mostly) a quiet one for me, though I did have family over to make enchiladas on Sunday (so nice and hot) which was an absolute blast.
Well, this post topic comes at a topical time. Or maybe I picked it because of what I’ve been reading lately. Hard to say.
Welcome back readers, to another Monday! You know, I try to make these openings as chipper and cheerful as I can when writing because hey, it’s Monday, and most people need that at the start of another workweek. So hey, I hope this chipper opening tone works for some of you!
Welcome, readers and writers!
[SLICE OF LIFE] [CUTE]
Overall. Minty time travels you back to a Hasbro shareholder meeting in 2003.
There's a new release! To complement this new line, among our media profile is included this gem.
Best lines:
(TLDR: There is a concise list of tools and points at the end of this post. However I encourage people to read the entire thing so they have a better understanding of the content and purpose of these tools. Still, if this is too long for you you can skip to the list of 12 things at the end.)
A bold title, yes, but not an untrue one.
You see, I’ve been working on a number of writing projects and one of them is an actual book to be published. Because of this I’ve been doing a number of things that are new to me and I came to a realization; I can research how to write all I want, and I can practice trying to be the best I can, but you learn stuff differently when, on purpose, you do something wrong.
As part of the School for New Writers I was part of a recording discussing questions asked of the teachers. It's been a while sense I did a video but I figured I'd give it a try. I still hate editing, but with some help it only took me a few hours so it might become somewhat regular.
You can follow the School for New Writers Here.
My first video is up on my channel and this time it's actually my video.
It helps a lot when you watch it and like it on Youtube so even when I put it here please don't forget to like it on Youtube.
The video is better than reading it in my opinion.
Descriptive prose can take many forms:
She was a hot glass of milk drank by a lactose-intolerant pony just before bed. A hot oven whose door you dared not open.
Welcome back to another Monday installment of our summer special! That’s right, it’s Being a Better Writer‘s Summer of Cliche Writing Advice! It’s not over yet! We’ve still got a few weeks (and cliche topics) left.
