The last week or so, I've seen some interesting new readers to Friends With Benefits. I am slowly but surely working on the next chapter, but the Muses have taken a holiday somewhere in Majorca or somewhere adjacent. When they're coming back is up for debate. I do not buy tiny spaceships on Amazon to ease my pain when homophobic downvotes temporarily knock my story off the 'popular stories' list.

I do not gloat when late-night perverts put it back on the list.

These things have never happened.

If the MLP writers do make another wedding episode with Big Mac and Sugar Belle, here are some of my ideas of how it will happen:
- Applejack and Sugar Belle try to spend some quality time together before the wedding and they end up at another part of Equestria. They then hurry back to Sweet Apple Acres before the wedding starts.
- Grand Pear is nervous of inviting some of the Pears to the wedding as he was afraid that some of the members didn't let go of the Apple/Pear family feud.

Olivia Olson has been eliminated in The X Factor: Celebrity on October 26, 2019, which is an absolute bummer. It just goes to show that Simon Cowell chooses ratings over talent.

Some people claim that the X Factor is rigged and more of a soap opera than searching for real talent, which is understandable, considering a lot of criticisms and controversies revolving around the show for many years.

Sorry about the lack of updates. I had some important work to do for my adopted brother, plus some other things, and It's took a while to get back into the writing groove. Supermare's third chapter could be submitted very soon, and X-Mares could come out around next week.

I was having a chat with my friend, Pixel Berry, about Logan and how we thought about it. We both agreed it was great, and X-23 was awesome. Me, being a comic book guy, told her a bit more about Laura/X-23, and I sorta planted the idea of an X-23 in Equestria. While she did seem to like the idea (including a bit of a crossover with Deadpool), but she feels that she's had enough Fics to work on. ... Well, this is an idea that's up for grabs:

I've seen a couple of crossover stories between Dark Souls and MLP and want to do one myself, but the way I want to do it is by playing through the game, then taking the events and such that happen to me throughout the game and having that become what happens to the character throughout their adventure. Mmmh idk. At least it's not as obnoxious as past trend stories, but is it worth writing or reading one? Well as far as I know, most of them are averaging 1k words per story so they're a fairly quick read. However in terms of measuring it's quality, it doesn't quite stack up with most clop fics. When you read more and more of these fics, you'll start seeing more of the same stuff and it ain't quite as engaging. More or less the quality depends more heavily on the writer's quality and style

I get into odd conversations with my friend Scott over stories in videogames and cartoons. We started bouncing ideas around that famous trope in shonen manga (and by extension, anime too), the FIGHTING TOURNAMENT ARC. Why is it used so much? Why does it keep falling flat? (Why do we collectively groan when we see it coming? )

Bouncing ideas back and forth, I figured out my own little theory. The authors use it as a delaying tactic!
