Weekly facts, diseases edition!
1. When Syphilis first surfaced, the English called it the ‘French disease’, the French called it the ‘Spanish disease’, Germans called it the ‘French evil’, Russians called it ‘Polish disease’, Poles called it ‘Turkish disease’, Turks called it ‘Christian disease’ and Japan called it ‘Chinese pox.’
So I've been watching the work of Twi-Sential and others on doing "TF references" of this little lightening of the boredom of self-isolation, and decided to pitch in my keyboard to aid the process. So this blog will be the one to watch that collects together the various "chapters" of this story.
