This week, we go from one end of the Equestrian timeline to the other as we return to Moonstuck..
I’m playing a little fast and loose with the schedule this week, but as of writing this, I have a contest deadline to race, RL friends to meet, and a performance of Khan! the Musical to see with my mom as a belated Mother’s Day gift, so reviewing a pony novel isn’t feasible.
Goodness, it’s been almost two years since I last checked in on Trailblazer’s adventures. IDW putting out comics almost as quickly as I could review them will do that, especially given all of the G5 video media coming out concurrently.
About a month ago, I told you all about AlexTFish's ongoing attempts to turn my various card blogs into a functional set. Well, now you can playtest with him! Details are in his blog here. I, for one, look forward to seeing just how my creations play.
This week, we’re winding back the clock a bit in terms of source episodes. There were hints of this Twilight’s delusions last week, but now we’ll get a better sense of the depth of the rabbit hole… but not a complete one. That will come in time.
We continue our look at the twisted universe next door, this time checking on some of the younger Ponyvillians.
With the second layer of backlog and my most recent contest resolved, we return to the previous threefold rotation of fan animation, webcomics, and official novels. Specifically resuming the interrupted exploration of Minty Root’s work.
Always a bit awkward to dust off an old save file and try to remember what you were doing at the time. Fortunately, Moonstuck is very forgiving for returning players. The game all but plays itself.
Between the Tell Your Tale schedule shift and the last issue of Little Fillies not coming out until next month, we’ve abruptly come to the end of the G5 backog. This was originally meant to go in a bridge week for the next Tell Your Tale blog, but sometimes reality doesn’t cooperate with my schedule. In any case, I like to commemorate every contest I run by making cards for each entrant, and now’s as good a time as any for my most recent one.
Now that I’ve returned from and thoroughly described Everfree Northwest, it’s time to make up for lost time. After all, keeping Luna waiting on the moon rarely ends well.
Happy Boxing Day! Needless to say, this one was prepped in advance. I appreciate all of you, but I’m not spending Christmas Day writing a card blog. Besides, who wants last minute gifts?
This week, we return to Trailblazer and company as they explore the exotic land of Midgard. (No, it’s not an FF7 crossover.)
Last week's shit is fully shat. It'd better still be fresh in your memories because...
The mess from last week is cleaned up. Nearly done with it, now.
This week... oh lordy, we're back to our new favorite whipping boy. This marks the conclusion to a trilogy, apparently. I dunno, I haven't peered much into these in a long time.
As usual, this update is copied from my Patreon, where I post all my behind-the-scenes writing stuff and chapters for things that aren't ready for fimfiction yet.
It’s the Sunday after Thanksgiving in the States. And Black Friday, for that matter. So, let’s commemorate both with a tale of mistreated, overworked laborers and be grateful that most Equestrias aren’t like it.
I could look at the next issues of Generations for this week, but I have something fun planned for New Year’s Day that requires me to skip over the comics for a cycle. As such, let’s see why everything is bigger and eight.
Happy Father’s Day! Today’s pony media is sadly unrelated. Well, hopefully unrelated. If Lost Carcosa reminds you of your father, that’s a matter for you and your therapist. In any case, let’s close out Rainbow Dash Presents.
We return to another tale twisted by the teller. And this one was pretty twisted to begin with. Time for one of the iconic memes of early pony.
