I've been fighting depression pretty badly for the past year or so. Things just went downhill for me the November before this last one. I've had to deal with a lot of bad luck, poor health, drama, and unfortunately deaths as well...

Yeah, things are decent here. I mean, I'm feeling just...lukewarm if you get my drift, and I have little feeling to dedicate to writing here on FIMFiction. I mean, being autistic has its advantages, but often they can turn to disadvantages if I'm unlucky.

And today, I feel rather unlucky.

Okay peeps, What it Means is now officially on a hiatus for now until I can rewrite the next arc. I am unhappy with how it came out, so I'm going to change some things around, make it better, and uh... shit, ya know?

It's been a long time since I've had the opportunity or inclination to write ponyfic, and I don't particularly expect either of those things to change in the future. There seems to be some saltiness about Shining being immortal, as it makes Cadance seem pushy and selfish or something. That wasn't my intent, and to be perfectly honest, it was a throwaway line that I included on a whim. I really don't care either way, so if you think Shining being mortal would give Cadance a better motivator to do the time shenanigans, then I'll change it.
