The Like-Dislike/ Up-downvote system is a very good way to rate a story in my opinion. What I don't like about it, is that it doesn't give you any indication of what was the reason for a rating, for example if it's a well liked fic what is it that's good about it and if it's downvoted, then what's the reason for that.

The Fourth Siren - Really like the mood i set here and the satirical edge. Definitely not a read for people who dislike mean spirited dark comedies!

Equestrian Suicidal Girls - Starts out sloppy, but I really liked some of my plotting, twists, and tje exploration of the cast such as a backstory for the Dazzlings and why Flash Sentry became who he is. Loved my edgy take on Aria, and Sombra as a wannabe occultist.

The like/dislike meter this site uses is a terrible mechanic. The intention behind the system appears to be to give both the writer of a fic and any potential readers a barometer of its overall quality... but even if it does serve that purpose feasibly well, it still suffers from a fundamental flaw: the existence of dislikes in the first place.

Knew my latest fic would get a random dislike eventually without the person specifying why (Probably due to an unrelated story I wrote as usual, as people love to hate spam my fics when I drop something that pissed them off) but hey, it was nice to have such a good rating for once!

I am stuck with a problem. I am wondering if my main story should stay Rated T or if for safety I should up it to Rated M and go for the gold. Nothing that I have planned I see as very bad. But others may disagree.

I am not sure what to do but I may go for the safest option and up it to rated M.

I don't want to scar any little fillies and colts in the audience.

If putting it to rated M would make people mad I may keep it at rated T and write around what I was thinking.
