What's the first thing Dark Magic/Force Side users do when they ride into town? Stop for lunch apparently, though Nyx has more than food on her mind when she spots a well-known, fair-haired local. Is King Sombra irritated her dark eyes are wandering? You'd be very surprised at the answer!

The following first scene towards next weeks chapter of AJBS, Saturday March 4th! Making his choice, Stardust has returned from his home world to his one calling! Problem? It's the wrong world! Instead, the man must tolerate another tedious adventure with the aid of a reluctant Sunset Shimmer and five teenagers with attitude. The stakes are high and the sirens remain the current threat... If only Stardust cared just a little more as opposed to yearning to get this all over with ASAP and return

This directly replaces the scene in the original chapter where Lisa, Samantha, and Timothy arrive at the old office building. In contrast to that chapter, where Twilight is playing the part of Lisa, this chapter instead has Lisa herself, free from any and all influence from Twilight. As such, her personality from before the simulation shines through for the very first time in the story.

The first scene of the next exciting chapter to A Journey Beyond Sanity! This time, no monsters, no friendship issues, no end of the world dilemmas. With Tirek still a way off, Stardust finds distraction from the looming impending threat in the form of another looming impending danger which could mean the end of everything: a date with his Princess. "You really think she'll like it?"
"Snake, I can't believe you! I leave you alone for fifteen minutes, and when I peek in on you, Rainbow's a scientologist, Cherry Jubilee is doing unspeakable things with a vibrating DualShock control pad, and to top it all off, the library basement is flooded with apple crunk juice! What do you have to say for yourself?!"
"We've managed to avoid drowning?"
"...Just get over here and kiss me already."

This really should have gone out Monday or Tuesday, not the night before, but I got called in to a job at the last minute yesterday evening and have another one tomorrow morning-afternoon. Not that I'm complaining. Sources of income have been rather scarce around here for me in the weeks past and now that's changing (YEAH!)
Amelia Dallon, AKA Miracle, is a bright, cheery, and mentally well-adjusted superhero healer. Victoria Dallon, AKA Gloom Girl, is a writhing ball of teenage angst and self-loathing in dire need of a therapist. Their relationship is absolutely uncomplicated and not problematic in the slightest.
It's been a while since I've done this (years, I believe), but it's also been ages since my last update, and I keep thinking of more details to add to this chapter, ever extending past my own deadline. 
As such, here's a short preview that I hope can tide you guys over for the next 1-2 weeks whilst I finish up. I don't want to reveal too much, but hopefully the first few paragraphs should at least give you all an idea of the chapter's tone.

This one was a long time in coming. This chapter's first scene was originally written for another story and may end up being used again in that story, which takes place in the real timeline, once Nyx, Derpy and Doctor Whooves fix time. It's a short preview, but intense. Enjoy!
