Ah, it is October, the month of Nightmare Night. I don't have anything planned for nightmare night, perhaps I will try to squeeze in a Halloween themed Nyx fic, if not a Fluttershy fic. It'd provide me with something new to do, and something original. But yeah I'm writing this because I feel young again, like back in my early days of music and stuff like that. I feel great

I hope your dentists drill holes in your teeth.... so they can fill them in with the filling glue! I hope they poke needles in your mouth.... and give you that numb juice so it won't hurt! I hope you have insurance.... because if you don't, its bad either way..... Get dental care first!!
Hello all my wonderful fans and anypony else who happens to be reading this! I hope you all had a great Nightmare Night? Mine was fun. Did my regular Queen Chrysalis cosplay outfit with a few minor changes and helped out with a Trunk-or-Treat program. (We ended up handing out candy to over 2500 people! One of those in our group counted everyone that participated and, including adults, there were around 4800 people that came to the event!
)

My apologies for the long stretch between anything appearing, but work has been running me ragged since March.
I managed to bang this together on an all-nighter on my day off last week.
Writing is being done a bite at a time here and there and will be posted soon in November.
To sum up the day in a single word, I would say smooth. The airport check in was no problem at all, and the TSA line moved along unlike previous experiences (I’m looking at you, Boston). After I told the stone-faced gentleman I had an artificial hip, he summoned another to run the scanner booth which was no big deal, although it did remind me of the disintegration booth in that Star Trek TOS episode.
Well, I've gotten several messages asking me if I'll be attending this year's Nightmare Nights convention, as I had every year in the past. It is my home convention, it means a lot to me. I love the people there, the fun I have there, and everything that is there.
However, I am saddened to say that I will not be attending this year.
I was really looking forward to Halloween this year, but tragedy struck and dressing up isn't as fun when I'm stricken with grief.
However, my dog still managed to make me smile today. She's a happy rainbow.
Alongside Christmas and Valentine's Day, Halloween is the only holiday to get a pony equivalent. Ever since the second season we've had it established as Nightmare Night. We've actually only had two official episodes take place on the holiday, but just like with Hearts and Hooves Day for Valentine's Day there are some episodes that could be said to have a Halloween feel to them (of course, not just any episode taking place at night or involving spooky imagery will qualify).
Don't have much, but I got some characters dressed up:

if I haven't stated it before, Halloween is my favorite Holiday! the candy, the Costumes, the scares! what's not to love? so make sure you go out and scare somepony before the night is done, and save a little candy for nightmare moon!

I started doing a little Nightmare Night story a couple days before the actual thing. Should have it done before the week ends, hopefully tomorrow. (It's the thought that counts.)
Whenever EQD posts conventions, I like to pop them into the calendar and set an alert for six weeks or a month prior to the date. Not that I plan to do everything or go everywhere, but if the opportunity arose, I would like to have enough time. So far, Trotcon and BronyCon are the only pony events I've attended. Ciderfest and EFNW are still on my list. At one point, BUCK was a possibility, if I renewed my passport and could score a cheap flight, but it disappeared before I could make it
As I type this, there is still a little bit of time before midnight, so this post technically isn't late according to my time zone. 
Anyway, I just thought I'd share a few things in the spirit of the holiday.
