I was hoping this would never happen, but it did...

One of my internet devices went kaput, so I'm now gonna be without internet for an unknown amount of time. Right now I'm forced to use the mobile data on my phone to do online stuff, but that only lasts for so long. So if I end up being offline for a long time, you know why.

Considering how my internet rapidly came on, cut out, came on, and cut out again and has done so for the past day or two, all I can say is that I'm really freakin' glad that autosave exists. And for things that don't have autosave, I can just copy and paste into a notepad document.

Also, screw Comcast.

Okay, quick updates so you dont think I've vanished into the internet ether.

We are now moved into the new flat, that is me my brother and mother.

However, we will have no real internet until the 24th of March!
I'm using a phone dongle to send this message right now.

I will do my best to continue work on fiction but communication will be sporadic until we finally get that new service put in.

So, just a quickie this time around, to give anyone who cares to read this a heads up. We’ll be moving into a new house sometime by the first of the year. After we do so, I will be without internet access for a while. Possibly . . . quite a while, like maybe a month or two. I choose to look at the bright side of this, however. With no internet, I’ll have no distractions, and can perhaps finally get a decent amount of writing done.

More specifically, after a few fine months of internet speeds actually being what we paid for, today just happened to be the day that it dropped back to sub-10Mbps speeds.

And I'm updating Autodesk Maya from 2016 to 2018 for school. I'm downloading nearly 4 Gigs. On a 3Mbps connection.

PAIN.

Okay, so I have had the worse luck.
Yesterday there was going to be another chapter posted, then my electricity decided to go out thanks to a random wave of thunderstorms that have hit my area in the last few days (I hate bipolar summer weather.) and well let's just say the file decided not to autosave. On the plus side, there should be at least three updates in the next few days

So my hard drive bricked back in the fall, and I finally replaced my computer with the stimulus money. But I don't really have a good way to try and recover the stuff that was on there, so that sucks.

But, I was hoping for some help in finding one particular bit of pony art that I haven't been able to dig up again since then.

I got myself a new router to replace my old one, so now I'm back to using my laptop to work on Fimfiction!

But for those of you who're eager for the next chapter of my story to come out, you'll have to be patient. It's gonna be pretty long, and I also ran into a small case of writer's block...

Whenever I get a new router or some other device to possibly help my internet issues, (such as the router I brought from my old house,) the internet will suddenly work flawlessly for almost exactly one day, before returning to dropping out every so often and general slowness for every day after that.

I call shenanigans.
