Naturally, spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen Season 9 of MLP. Don't read any further if you haven't seen these episodes and want to eventually, without spoiling anything.

Well, I asked about blogs, but only one way to tell for sure. And I'll start by reposting some stuff I've said in somewhat obscure places. Here's some things I wrote about Season 1 last year - 2 and 3 to follow!
Okay then, Season 1! Before we get started, a few ground rules.
Fast as lightning, sharp as a sword
It was stupid. I'm sorry, but it was just a 22-minute long string of cringes and facepalms. Reminiscing of a long, ridiculous snowball effect just to teach Apple Bloom not to lie, even if it's for a good reason?
And after this, I never want to hear Big Mac talk again. Not even a single "Eeyup". 
I did catch the background stuff, though. Anyone see Derpy in eye bandages?
Fast as lightning, sharp as a sword
And it was good. Not incredible, but very good. A refreshingly complex drama-like plot, almost like a soap opera, but good. 
And a much more cunning (male) antagonist. Hey, we're not all idiots in Equestria after all!
A touch of realism with the Flim Fliam brothers. They haven't changed, they never will change, and everything they've done wrong is still remembered from previous episodes.
So the new episode just ended...
It was so AWESOME!

Oh, joy, we're looking at SugarMac again. Yippee. 
But, hey, maybe if giving Maud Pie a boyfriend made her more tolerable for me, maybe this episode could give us some development on Sugar Belle and show us why she and Big Mac like each other and what the real foundation of their relationship is instead of providing cheap lip service and presenting them as a generic couple that like each other because... reasons that the fandom has to work on themselves.
There are some new episodes to add for Seasons 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6, as well as a bunch of episodes from Season 7. Here's Version 3, in case you want to see what Season 6 episodes have already been added (you can go from there to Version 2 to see the ones for Seasons 1-5). Like always, this list is the result of my personal opinion, and I mean no offense to anyone at Hasbro or DHX.
Some more quick thoughts on the latest episode. I may make this a recurring series of blog posts throughout Season 8, but we’ll see. As always, mild spoilers.
Can I just pretend that this episode is just a bad fan fiction and is therefore non-canon?
Well, here we are, the eve before the next episode because I procrastinated putting my thoughts up on last week's episode. To be fair, when I wasn't doing real life stuff, I was busy churning out the next chapter of Brotherly Bonding Time, which only turned out to be, oh, over 11,000 words long!
Well, since I'm about to take a weekend trip, I might as well give you this before I forget.
Heh, here's the episode I got to watch at the convention!
Well, for a good while I've certainly doubted that making Daring Do real was a good idea--even if Stranger than Fan Fiction is one of my favorite episodes.
So, after my piece on Season 1 and the wonderful lack of commentary on it, I shall now go onward to Season 2 and things I thought about each episode. They're not necessarily reviews, I don't consider myself a good critic, but just random opinions and likely focusing on random stuff in each piece. Some may match up with popular opinion and some might be different.
Here we go!
I was presently surprised on this one.
To be honest I had a rather low opinion going into this episode. But, I have to give it to M. A. Larson, he does know how to entertain people.
Not only that, but we had more background ponies AND a recolor of Twi called "Moondancer".
And a flash back to S1.
Overall. . . . this episode is one of my faves from S5.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! The Scootaorphan meme is dead! It's dead, it's dead, it's dead!
I always hated that fanon, and I'm glad it's been officially jossed. 
Wow, 200 episodes? I don't think anyone ever anticipated that the show would come this far.
