Thoughts on Grannies Gone Wild · 6:39pm Apr 15th, 2018
Truth be told, I this episode was a little predictable (totally called that Rainbow would ride the coaster with the grannies), but I did still find it enjoyable. Props to Rainbow for trying to be responsible for her charges, no matter how badly she wants to go on that roller coaster.
Also, Las Pegasus... pfft, my head is so much in my fanfic universe I ended up thinking, "Wow, Las Pegasus sure recovered well from the vampire incident." That, and I noticed that the Flim Flam brothers are really doing well, enough that they have statues and the building now has a mustache. I'm surprised Granny Smith didn't really react to the statues.
That part with the bellhop creeped me out. I also cringed a little at Granny Smith letting her hair down and tossing it like she was in some shampoo commercial, though it's not as cringey as the former with... Apple-"Saucy".
And I know I'm not the only one who noticed how much that one unicorn looked a lot and even acted a little like Trixie. Seriously, the resemblance is so uncanny, I'd be surprised if he wasn't related to Trixie. How many fics will I find about this particular subject?
All in all, fun episode.
I'm honestly surprised that something involving Trixie and Jack Pot hasn't already taken the featured box by storm. Also, I wish the episode had given me an excuse to make some manner of vampony card. Or one for Kazam, Splicer Mage...
And yeah, I'm definitely in favor of Granny Smith never letting her hair down again.
