Hey there folks! It’s only Thursday, I know, but I’m kicking off this weekend’s news post a little early because, plainly put, there’s news to be discussed! And we’re just going to dive right into it.
So Bradel and I drunkwrote a thing last night:

Let me get this out of the way right now: Adding sound effects to fanfic readings takes time. A single sound that a listener may hear once for a half a second could take you upwards of a half an hour to find, edit in, and fine tune to fit exactly how the story is interpreted. But adding sounds can really make your finished product come alive in a way that a normal reading would not be able to accomplish.
While I was off partying at Babscon and pulling a frantic all-nighter to enter the Writeoff, fanfic reader Midnight29 was assembling a lovely little audiobook:
I had meant to write a blog post that tortuously wound around to the tagged story, but while I was typing, I got a PM:
So I actually finally got around to doing it. I told myself I would, and I procrastinated. Took the better part of four hours to make and a sleepless night, but here it is.

Woohoo! Pipp Pipp Horay! It's happened, my first story to hit the 1k mark! Reflections of a Unicorn was my first, and to celebrate this fact I have something special to share with everypony. Two things, first on the Reflections of a Unicorn side of things, there will be an audio fan fic reading of the story available to listen to on YouTube and Spotify in early February of this year courtesy of Mystery Pony
