Chapter 1 Audio Recording done! For A Kindled Beginning.

So I actually finally got around to doing it. I told myself I would, and I procrastinated. Took the better part of four hours to make and a sleepless night, but here it is.

My first ever audio recording of my work. Feel free to bash it if you think it sucks!

I used to listen to David Tenant's audiobooks of the How To Train Your Dragons a whole heck of a lot, and I really wanted to try my own hand at it. The inflections in his tone, the voices of his characters, the sheer character he brought to the work simply by reading it in his own distinct style as he brought to life all of its characters...

This is literally my first ever try at this. I probably practiced maybe twice before I did this? So I know for a damn fact that I suck and that my reading doesn't even come close to David's, but a boy can dream goddamnit!

I already know what I did wrong on it too. Slipped up one too many words, pacing is shotty, me trying to cut my breathing in-betweens takes and such make the cuts sound more unnatural than they have to be... Sigh. But I'm not about to go back and fix it because it's annoying. Just recording the audio file, rendering it to an MP4, and uploading it and waiting for SD processing on youtube took too long for me to do that heckin' stuff again.

Anyways, unless I hate myself for how cringy this video ends up being tomorrow morning when I wake up rested and sane of mind, you may or may not see more of them from me. Ciao!
