After running my new chapter past prereaders and discussing it with them, the conclusion was unanimous—they loved all of it including the powerful combat scenes and especially some very hot adult action at the end, but the ending scene exceeded an R-rating. More seriously, you'll see that this little batch of chapters have some incredibly stupid aspects to them and some that I would go as far as praising genuinely. In fact, I find the calmer chapters to be the more focused, character-based and interesting, especially in a fiction that just swims in a constant state of fighting, gunning and running. I made some spaghetti and meat sauce yesterday and ate it rather gingerly, in very small pieces.
