A confession about "Do That Again": It didn't make me laugh. I don't think I smiled while writing it. What was in my head while writing it was a series of calculations along the lines of "HUMANS WILL LAUGH AT THIS WITH PROBABILITY 0.57", to a soundtrack of guilt for writing feature-box clickbait that wasn't even proper clop.
For several reasons I'll be putting Queen Twilight Sparkle on the front of my writing projects. The other stories, such as Dragonborn Chronicles and various one shots, will be put on the back burner. Nothing will be put on hold or be on hiatus so there's no need to worry. Everything else will just take longer to write.

So, semicolons.
It’s been a while since I’ve written any blogs about writing advice or whatever, but I’ve been thinking a lot about semicolons lately. Why? Because I’m the most interesting person on the planet, obviously. Marvel at how much I have going on in my personal life. Marvel.
As I mentioned in the last blog post, I have joined a new group: Word of the Week Quickfic Challenge. To summarize, the group moderator – Deli – finds a new obscure word every week and posts it as a prompt for that week's contest; the writers' job is to write a little story inspired by that word within the five-day time limit. I figured it'd get the creative juices flowing again, and maybe be a barrel of fun
You might find it odd that I, Infernity Zero, am writing a blog about females when I, Infernity Zero, am 101% male. Well, that's because with the advent of shows like FiM, Steven Universe, Legend of Korra, Miraculous Ladybug etc., more and more shows are putting the "better half" in the spotlight. And as a feminist myself who supports equal rights for both genders while still acknowledging that men and women are inherently different, I think that's a good thing.
Just lack the same drive as I used to in writing, I've made about 205 stories, I think I have some ammo for what I'm saying here. I'm doing some other creative things on the side, like making maps for games and stuff.
Not to worry though, when the mood calls for it I will release something. But I don't think I am the zerg rush writer I used to be. Hopefully, my work inspires you to do similar crazy stuff like mine, in the Bendy style.
My writer's block is slowly becoming undone. It is helping me cope with the stress of the post-flood and the move to a new apartment I do believe.

It was Twilight’s mane that captured most of Rarity’s gaze hook, line and sinker. Bright pink alongside the gradual varying light and darker shades of purple and blue were an extremely fetching color combination on their own.
Well, I'm officially no longer a one-shot wonder. Now, I'm a two shot wonder. As In, "I wonder if this idiot will write yet another story"?

So my kitchen smells like a farm field. This was entirely by accident as my poor little fern, which has stuck with me close to 2 years now, was yellowing, and I wanted to give it new soil. I grabbed a bag of fertilizer (made from a combo of animal and plant sources) carefully pulled the plant out of its teeny tiny pot into a bigger container... And then proceeded to just dump the fertilizer in there like it were sugar for a massive wedding cake. No new soil mixed in, nada. It wasn't
Last time we touched the topic of writing elaborate duels to make them more interesting and entertaining for your readers. Now, while I provided an example of two turns, I feel the need to clarify you don’t have to have your characters dumping the entire contents of their hands on the very first turn. Depending on the flow of the duel and number of turns, you can have both characters starting “slow”, escalating their plays and trading “blows” until the duel reaches its climax.
Nyronus wrote a blog about writing and writing advice! As we all know, we get writing advice that while coming with good intentions does't really work for the story or work in progress. Sometimes authors are trying to do a specific thing and taking advice is always iffy one way or another, especially if whoever is giving it to you is unwilling to at least hear what you're trying to do.
Have you ever been afraid to write something? Like, a story, perhaps? Because I have.
Truly, it's a crippling burden. A fear of trying to even write, because I feel that it's just not good enough. I can tell a story, sure, but I can't even figure out if what I'm writing is good enough, and it turns into a debilitating fear that stops me from writing.
The fear of rejection, knowing that you have failed, is a heavy burden to bear, and I have resolved to try and avoid it at all costs.
In my story 'Journey to Midnight Castle', I planned for Twilight to become an Archmage in the Coronation. Basically, every four years, Princess Celestia chooses one of her most promising students to become an Archmage, but I need ideas on how to make the Archmage more powerful than a normal mage.
Edit: By the way, the Coronation takes place in Chapter 1, before Nightmare Moon returns to Equestria.
This book is good enough that I'm going to give a brief overview of it.
