While helping another author edit their story, I came up with an alternative idea for how their character reached Equestria. They ended up not using it, so I'm reposting it here. Never beat this one, but I did find an old copy of the first game as a tyke, and tried getting into it a few times.
Says something how new to both D&D and English I was, that I think I made... four Thieves, or something like that. Since I'd just played Thief 2 for the first time, and having four Gerath's in my party sounded super crazy awesome.
Great title with a lot of heart and style. Not bad at all combat, either. And the Mexican myth themeing is just superb.
Highly recommended if you haven't played it yet. One of the best metroidvania's of resent years. Were it not for Hollow Knight and its frankly ludicrus degrees of polish, I might have even called it the outright best I've played in recent years.
