Bronies For Christ 249 members · 118 stories

Welcome to the Christian Bronies forum! This is a place for people who know God to talk about Him and his word, and for people who don't know about Him to learn, or even to just hang out with a wonderful group of people.

As a community based around God, we want to keep the environment respectful, but open to both parties. We like to have fun too! The rules will be simple and reasonable, but enforced well. Please try not to press your luck.
Rules:

The one rule we'd ask for everyone to keep in mind is the golden rule: Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you. Try to strive to be respectful and understanding. We realize that this isn't the number one priority in conversation and that it can make things awkward, but it's important to keep in mind during any disputes or when you see something that angers you. This is a group that views questions of morality with a good deal of importance. Things will be said here that you don't appreciate or like. Some things may offend you or make you frustrated, even furious. And they may even be perfectly okay to say on the board, even if they're not exactly nice. It's at times like these you need to remember to keep a cool head and keep things from getting too heated or personal. You can respond, just...try not to go over the top with it. A flame war is the last thing anyone here wants.
And in return, we strive to be more understanding and lenient when it comes to behavior in conversation. An occasional kerfuffle or harsh word is something that comes out from everyone every now and then. That's the nature of interaction between people. We get it and we respect it, so don't expect us to come down hard on you for the small stuff. But we'd like to think we're fair about knowing what is and what isn't normal, so try not to make being rude a habit. If you go too far or if you do these things far too much, we will take notice and take action.

2. This is a Christian forum. As such, the stories submitted here must be about Christianity or espouse Christian values. Place everything in the right folder if you can, and if you're unsure about any mature content, sexual or otherwise, PM an admin and they'll straighten it out. While we don't outright ban mature content, it needs to be put into a context that's appropriate for the community, so tread lightly.

3. Tag your threads appropriately. (Christian) is the tag for any threads relating to Christianity, while (Non-Christian) is anything else. If you're not sure about the content you want to post, maybe think about adding an additional tag to warn people about any content you're unsure of.

4. Don't come here looking for trouble. We're lax around here, but we're not stupid. If you come here looking for trouble, trouble is exactly what you're going to get. In addition to that, we'd really appreciate it if you took extra care to help keep things looking more like a community of people that people can be proud to be a part of. Try and help the people that need it, and remember to be patient. If your words would cause more harm than good at the moment, keep them to yourself until the proper moment, even if that moment is never.

And lastly, If you have any questions about anything or want to know how to become a Christian, then send a PM to one of the group admins.

I can respect that. I guess it’s more the theme of the show then the literal representation.

Cool, thanks for the answer!:pinkiehappy:

Every fan has an opinion.

For Christians such as myself, My Little Pony actually reminds me of Jesus and the Bible. The morals and lessons it has strengthen the relationships I have with my family and friends, and especially with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

As an atheist, I'm curious how people can enjoy a show taking place in a fictional pagan universe where deities actually exist and interact with the populace? Doesn't that kind of severely weaken you own beliefs? To my knowledge if you go to the Capital City of your country you will not see God or Jesus or the leader of your nation raise the sun (you might if you live in North Korea- joke).

If this group is "dead", can we have a resurrection?

I was here LIVE yesterday. I don't care if this group is dead. If you have the time, listen to Greg Laurie before his message leaves the archives.

384430 I think you might need this.
384415 Brother, if we tear you down then who is the Christian here? I think people forgot WWJD or they are gorillas. (Reference to video.)
381614 Well, I can't help with one theology, but I have a Baptist(?) sermon, here. Had to keep people out of AT&T stadium due capacity.

358665 Dear Lord, you need this! I'm not typing his name in vain, just calling his attention to this matter.
358641 Brother, read above. Gorillas and Lions.

Everyone needs to hear this. Harvest America 2016.

384430 What did that guy ever do to you? From where I stand you look like the bad guy, but you hve to have a motive no matter how __________ it is.

406859 no problemo!! although this group is pretty much dead now :applejackunsure:

392600 The one week I check these groups out again and they're worth being in! Thanks, Carl, for your part.

391344 to tell the truth i had thought no one actually used this group so i haven't checked for such behavior :twilightsheepish:

but it will be investigated!

I just realized. These Christian groups are either almost great, not good enough, or just completely wrong. And some of you know what I mean by wrong. :raritydespair:

This place is full of hypocrites and/or actual believers. Who are you? :rainbowderp:

Love and compassion > tolerate. I share this to remind myself to let my love be the evidence of Christ's love despite all my flaws and flounders.

"If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don't love, I'm nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate. If I speak God's Word with power, revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day, and if I have faith that says to a mountain, "Jump," and it jumps, but I don't love, I'm nothing. If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don't love, I've gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I'm bankrupt without love." (1 Corinthians 13:1-7, The Message)

384415 Whatever you say killer.

384403 I'm not even gonna deal with this...

383280 HAHAHAHAHA. Oh I missed this one. You do know THIS group was founded when the other group was taken over by people like you, right?

Hey, maybe THIS group won't tear me down for my beliefs...

I guess I'll find out.

Hi, gang. Musicluvr1974 here.

I joined because I could use some help with my story. The fellow whose worldbuilding I based it on (and whose story universe I've currently set it in) recently accused me of blasphemy. I've thought it over, and I think it's mainly because of doctrinal differences--I'm Pentecostal (Foursquare, to be exact) and he's Baptist. I'm looking for a brony who knows about both sets of theologies to take a look at my story and see whether you can spot why he had such a strong reaction. Am I in the wrong, or (as I hope) is it merely denominational differences causing the rift between us? :fluttershysad:
