When Soarin’s pride and manliness are on the line, he will resort to anything to defend them. Sadly, Soarin doesn’t always have the brightest ideas. So will his newest plan ‘Operation Prove I’ma Man’ end in glory and impressed teammates, or will it end in utter failure and shame? Rainbow Dash was dead.None of the elements took it well, But worst of all was Twilight, living secluded in her room, never uttering a word to anyone, as she studied a forbidden art that could change everything forever; for better or worse. That was the case. But after a forbidden magic ritual gone wrong, Rainbow Dash ends up as a bodyless soul chained to a locket, unable to be seen by most ponies and unable to speak or touch them as well, now Twilight must travel across Equestria and its neighbors to find a mythical gem, which may be the only way to get her mare-friend back.

Events that lead to the story start just before the Season 3 finale. It begins about one and a half years after Twilight would have become a princess. Celestia did not test her as she had begun to date Rainbow Dash, and didn't want to add stress. AU tag because of yet unrevealed events.

New! Part 3: After Twilight notices Applejack becoming increasingly obsessed with the game, she tasks Pinkie Pie (of all ponies) to keep an eye on her. The two head out into Ponyville in search of adventure and the perfect game.

Part 1: Twilight has finally convinced Applejack to join her other friends in Spike's weekly D&D game. However, will she be able to figure out the rules before they all drive Spike crazy?

Part 2: Applebloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle have stumbled across Twilight's D&D books, and convinced her to take up the dice once more. But will anypony meet their high standards to be their Dungeon Master? More importantly, what will happen when you-know-who finds out?

When your life is as dull a gray as the world that surrounds you, the mundanities can make it all seem meaningless. Sometimes all we need is a little color -- or six -- to reintroduce us to what truly makes life worth living.
