After the incident with the Mirror Pool, Pinkie Pie begins to realize just how close she came to losing everything and how the ramifications of the event manifested in more than just a ruined barn raising. She seeks the comforting help of one of her best friends, who is more than happy to help.

Pinkie Pie is heralded as the most gleeful, fearless, and eccentric pony in Equestria. Who is Pinkie Pie, though? What runs through her mind when she's alone? Everyone has fears, after all, and everyone has nightmares.
And the greatest nightmares are the ones that are true.

Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle have a house by the shore together. Many years have gone by. Sometimes, every day is hard.

The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune have deprived Pinkie Pie of every one of her best friends. Without any will to live on, she decide to throw a final party in memoriam of her bygone friendship.

I don't think this requires a mature content warning. It is definitely sad, and somewhat dark. It has some off-screen murder (committed by the big villain Discord) and a little bit of suicidal stuff, but I managed to make a friendship lesson out of this sad story. The friendship report was the part which I had most fun writing. It contains my true thoughts on the friendship thing, and I believe is something that Pinkie Pie should learn someday.
