I am sitting in my room, trying to break the writer's block. As rain slashes against the window and the room grows dark, I thunk my head against the desk I'm sitting in. It seems as if there is no way out of being unable to craft sentences out of the many ideas swimming in my head.

Until a lavender alicorn pony comes along, that is.

During the past millennium, Daybreaker has ruled Equestria with justice and fairness. Having risen from the ashes of her battle against Nightmare Moon, she ascended once more to lead Equestria into an age of prosperity and glory.

At least, that's what the ponies of Equestria are told. The real events are a stark contrast to what they are taught in school.

One night, she finally confesses her secrets to a pony who is willing to listen to everything she says. How will she react? And will Daybreaker be able to shed the reminders of her sins?

Takes place decades before the first episode of Season 1.

Things used to be so simple before Autumn shifted, before she knew what she was. As she goes on her journey she will meet many different creatures. Some will be friends and others will mean to do her harm. Can a Canis Equus ever have a happy ending despite being something other ponies deemed a myth, a monster?

Rainbow Dash is used to feeling her heart beat a mile a minute... while performing stunts with the Wonderbolts, or fighting any threats to Equestria with her friends. But as she flies over Ponyville heading to the castle of the lavender alicorn who stole her heart she's coming to realize that as long as they're together her heart may never stop pounding. Not that she's complaining.
