Well I can sort of see Twilight becoming an alicorn. I have watched commercials on The HUB and have heard something about a unicorn realizing her true destiny. This does imply that Twilight is going to become an alicorn. As for the other things, I don't think those are really true. I don't think Hasbro would just get rid of Derpy like that. It's create a bigger backlash than when she first spoke.

If they do make Twilight an alicorn then there would be no point to make a season 4.

At first I was thinking, "Sell more toys? All Hasbro has to do is deliver whatever the hell the brony community asks for and they can make a fucking fortune! Yet they're trying to sell more toys by doing something their fans will hate. It's like they're not paying any attention to anything they can't see inside their own behinds."

But when it came to the "can Derpy", me thoughts were just, "Okay, this is totally fake."

If this is actually true, Hasbro will have a place in history for being incredibly ignorant and making some pretty terrible marketing decisions.

I mean, seriously, getting rid of Derpy because of a backlash? Why not try to actually understand what happened and do it right? It's not that hard. "This character caused a controversy! Let's distance ourselves from the problem instead of exerting the very small amount of effort that would be required to fix it!"

Either one of these things would cause an even BIGGER backlash.

Though I get the Derpy, I do not get why they would ruin one of my favorite characters to sell more toys, even though they must make millions off of the show it self. I mean if this is real ( which i pray to Celesita it isn't) it has to be, without a doubt in my mind, the stupidest decisions Hasbro could ever make. I don't really mind if Derpy is 'phased out' because she'll always still be in the Fanfics we all write, but having an Alicorn Twilight that is actually CANON to the show......

Well that photographic evidence doesn't really help this rumor's case, but wouldn't Twilight becoming an Alicorn be grounds for spin-off show? It certainly wouldn't be the same show at all

This.. sucks. And why must you sell more toys like this, Hasbro? Just make ones of other characters! Seriously! Just make better toys of the main six or something. Even better, make the CMC, if they haven't already.

I'll still give the show a chance even if this is true. However, it will be difficult. I don't mind if Derpy is taken mainly due to the fact she isn't highly invovled with the show. Never the less it's still a painful blow, but we'll still stand.

Twilight becoming an alicorn, that's a whole new thing. She's the main character enough as it is, so why their doing this is beyond me. I seriously hope they don't do this, that, or they do, but later revoke their choice.

All in all, we just need to watch how this plays out, let's not be quick to judge. Still judge, just don't make assumptions like "IT THE END OF MLP:FIM AS WE KNOW IT!".
