Signal Boost — Bicyclette's StarTrixMaud Shipping Contest! · 12:22am Sep 4th, 2021
Hey everybody!
So, if you haven’t heard already, Bicyclette has organized a StarTrixMaud shipping contest! Yours truly is one of the judges, along with two other friends. This is a contest dedicated to the four possible ships (StarMaud, StarTrix, Mauxie, and StarTrixMaud) between these three awesome characters. A full list of rules and criteria can be found in the blog post linked above.
The contest deadline was recently extended to September 16th (8PM EDT), and the prize pool has been boosted as well. Here’s what’s up for grabs:
First Place: $80
Second Place: $60
Third Place: $30
Fourth Place: $25
Fifth Place: $15
In addition to these prizes, there are four $20 prizes available for the best story showcasing each of the four possible ships, as well as four $15 judge prizes! A story can both place in the contest and win a category prize, and/or a judge prize, on top of that. For example, a story that places third overall, but is also judged to be the best Mauxie story and the winner of one of the judge prizes would then win $65 (instead of just $30)! There's more money on the table than just the five prizes listed above! 
With a little under two weeks left to go, there’s still plenty of time to throw your hat (or cape, or frock!) in the ring. Best of luck to those who participate!
