EFNW 2023 - Now With A ScaDot Book And Panel! · 10:13pm Jul 24th, 2023

Hey everyone! 👋

If any of you are headed to Everfree Northwest in a few weeks, my amazing girlfriend and I will be there! We went in both 2021 and 2022 and had an excellent time meeting up with a bunch of folks from all around the country. This time, however, we aren't just going to hang out with friends, check out some cool stuff in Seattle, and spend way too much money on pony merch...

This time, we'll be selling the book we wrote together, as well as hosting a panel on collaborative writing with the awesome Wanderer D!

For those interested in purchasing a paper copy of Love Me Like You, a story I personally consider to be one of the best I've ever written, check out Twilight's Book Nook in the vendor hall. There will be tons of great pony stories for sale there, both paperback and hardback, from a wide variety of authors. Seriously, if you're going to EFNW and you're a regular Fimfic reader, you'll want to check it out!

When Scampy and I decided that we wanted to print one of our stories this year, there was no question about which one it would be. This story has a lot of heart—both of our hearts, really—put into it. Authenticity is something we both value in written work. As a story about what it means to love deeply, written by two people deeply in love, I'd like to think we succeeded in that venture.

To that end, we priced our book at only $10.00 USD, which is the exact cost of printing and shipping each copy. Rather than make a profit, we wanted to make our story as affordable and accessible as it could be. Both for current fans of the story who want a physical copy, and for those browsing at the convention looking for something new to read.

It even has the coveted "Izzy sniff of approval," so you know it's good.

Last but not least, if you'll be at EFNW on Friday morning, be sure to check out the "Working Together: Co-Writing Stories" panel at 10:15 AM in Twilight's Writing Room!

Lastly, if you see Scampy and I at EFNW, feel free to say hello! We may (or may not) be easier to spot as "girl dressed up as Wallflower" accompanied by "girl with Sunset shirt holding her hand". Scampy might even have cookies and/or gay candy to give out like we did the first time! (I'll try to remind her so we don't forget like last year, lol.)
