So after a little digging around last night and getting info from another person who got their account disabled, I learned I wasn't personally targeted by people. However a group I was apart of was. Long story short; my account was disabled merely thanks to what could be summed up as Guilt by Association. One of the servers I was lurking in was targeted and mass reported by a guy who lead a co-ordinated mass report spam brigade. When the server got enough reports on it, Discord staff 404'd the group and everyone, everyone from a group of 300+ people got their accounts disabled at once.
It was basically a wide scale censorship campaign led by far left types who have imaginary Nazi's living rent free in their heads. A lot of innocents got caught in the crossfire, and they didn't deserve what happened to them.
So as one of the more vocal voices that goes heavily against this kind of thing, I guess it's partially on me to try and reconnect everyone the best I can. a friend of mine has made a backup discord group in hopes everyone could reconnect, so if you are able, PM me and I'll point you in the right direction.

Communism would favor conditions that make it seem like the government deciding how you spend your money is a good thing, because this time they'll have everyone's best interest at heart. I wouldn't call the group imaginary Nazis in people's heads, cause there are actual national socialists in that server. Big reason I dipped out of there so quick when I was invited was because of it being a cesspool of mlpol. It bothered me.
But I have a few friends who also hopped in as lurkers ages ago, never said a word in there, and just kinda were there and unaware as they were banned for being a fly on the wall. So that was a bit of an issue to solve yesterday.
Like, I also didn't like that group cause my bud Czu was banned for drawing striped Aryanne. Lol. Bastards didn't like him doing that to their precious aryan mare. So me and him plus a few other buds of ours kinda laugh at that group for being a bunch of whiny babies and racist.
My thoughts aren't as cut and dry as others is what I am trying to say. On one hand it's annoying the actual innocents got swept up for just either forgetting about the server in their sea of servers, or just not giving a damn and lurking for whatever reason. On the other, fuck that server because it was filled with a lot of heinous, nasty people.

From a business perspective. If I was Discord, I see a bunch of reports of harassment or whatever, and I am linked to a server with a Nazi pony as the banner and what not, I am going to ban it. It was 350 strong, so inspecting all of them to see who is good and bad would have been a lot more work, so it was a pragmatic choice.

I just wanted to point that part out real quick. She wasn't active there, at all. Only said a few words when I invited her, and just became another fly on the wall. So she was shocked when she was suddenly banned. As I said before, the annoying part is the innocents dragged down because of the cesspool they got guilt by association by.
Everything else I said remains true. My friends are still around, Tiddy didn't die again, and the real dickheads of that server are dispersed. So it's just picking up the pieces atm.
Edit: btw that server wasn't the host of that art pack, nor was it the creator. They just had an announcement channel that kept tabs on updates on it. I dipped legit right after that was over and never looked back. As I said, was a mlpol cesspool.

True. But it still looks like a circle-jerk propagated by the same, tiny fraction of users which people like Numberers will use to paint a broad brush against their opponents. Guilt by association is a common trait of their ilk. The most recent, widespread example of this is ACAB. I.E. All cops are bastards. But I digress. Instead of targeting those specific users for what were blatant rule violations, they chose instead to punish the entire server as being culpable to the crimes of a few, which is why I, personally, won't come even close to being okay with this pathetic act of subterfuge. We even saw it recently with Fimfiction being reported to patreon. These people hate that people who don't agree with them exist and will do everything they can to diminish or outright destroy the spaces they inhabit, even if it means cutting off their nose to spite their own face.
Edit: I also remain unconvinced that these people doxed anyone. The people who reported the server typically have such inflated egos that they dox themselves. I'm not saying it's okay to use the information to do things such as sending pizzas, but if you're so moronic enough that you plaster your personal information over the internet, you only have yourself to blame if a few bad apples take advantage of that fact.

yeah that's the one. Wish I paid more attention to the group, but contacting one of the more active people in that old server, it turns out the doxxing issue was a 2 way fight between groups. That small group of people that's in Woot's screenshot were constantly targeted and harassed by the same group of people that made this. https://ponytariat.carrd.co/#masterdocument They got mad, made harass art of these people harassing them, and because of that art, Woot carried out a a mass report against it. Both sides were in the wrong and they shouldn't have been at each others throats like little children, but seeing Woot acting disingenuous and and try to paint one side good while the other evil is typical of him, and because of his actions, over 300 people had to pay for the sins of a small group.

I feel like this is a problem that could easily have been avoided by not violating the Discord terms of service by joining a Nazi server, or at least leaving it after it was clear that's what it was. Beside that, though, very amused with initially calling it a false flag.

I could turn that around and say far left type servers should be avoided, since they'll likely get the same treatment in the near future. Besides like one poster already said, I joined the server during the Aryanne art pack, and after such, it sat at the bottom of my discord list, untouched and mostly ignored. Had I been more active and watched it more, I probably would have left at some point, but the main issue is the blanket destruction of over 300 people on a 4.5 year old server.

Not quite on the same scale, but Derpibooru had to drop the politics channel from its server, and subsequently banned political discussion on the server altogether, after a few of its denizens earned permanent bans for promoting violence against people who held different political positions to their own. You can probably guess the twist, but to make it clear: they were bigging up violence against police officers and their families, and "privileged whites" in general, for having insufficiently raised consciousnesses amongst other things. Talk is all it was. Or I assume it's all it was. Even if it was talk with intent, I really don't think Discord should be taking it on themselves to monitor and police conversations in private or semi-private spaces, any more than a phone company should be.

Glad I ducked out of that server a few weeks ago. Just like you, I was only there for one specific thing (some emotes, I think) but otherwise, the server sat at the bottom of my server list as well, completely untouched.
Just happened to be part of a server-clear-out since what few glimpses I did have into that server didn't look good.
I'd say that a select handful of people probably deserved what they got from this, but what they got is not at all worth all the casualties that have happened as well. It's still a net loss.
